Brook Lynn and Chase heat up! The chemistry between Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is about to reach a boiling point. They can’t deny the tension that’s been brewing up like baking soda and vinegar.

Brook Lynn and Chase have graduated from the beginning stages of argumentative banter. They went through many stages of their courtship to end up where they are today. The former singer and ex-cop went from public spats and petty arrests to playing mom and dad to Bailey Louise. Chase overcame inability to walk, and was ready to take on life.

GH fans watched their relationship develop and love bloom despite their different outlooks on life. General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn has the best of intentions for Chase and [her] dream of pop stardom. After a long road of trying to prove to Chase he has what it takes, Brook Lynn lands a job his manager.

Chase and Brook Lynn slowly fell in love and neither of them were ready to admit their feelings. GH fans expressed their frustration with how slowly the romance was developing. This week, Brook Lynn and Chase heat up, and finally hit the sheets after their first kiss last Winter.

GH previews indicate the love birds hit the town for a fun filled date night, later to end the night by taking things to the next level. The wait is over and the highly anticipated steamy scenes are headed our way. Chase and Brook Lynn make love after a night out, however, neither of them have been completely honest with each other. 

Will their romance die soon after it comes alive?

Brook Lynn’s sneaky move could cost her the man she loves. She isn’t known for her honesty, so trading lightly would have been her best bet. Instead she is already playing with fire. But Brook Lynn isn’t there only one keeping a secret. Chase desperately wants to be an officer again and is keeping his feelings to himself. Brook Lynn so badly wants him to pursue a singing career while he wants a simple life as a cop for the PCPD. 

These two finally take things to the next level but how can things between them last if they are both lying? Will these two burn out after finally heating things up?

General Hospital News And Spoilers: Marcus Coloma Opens Up About Producers Killing Off Nikolas Cassadine

Marcus Coloma opens up about his fears surrounding his role as Nikolas Cassadine. Coloma took over the role of the Dark Prince, Nikolas Cassadine, in 2019, and is currently on the front burner of what’s happening in Port Charles. He had big shoes to fill after Tyler Christopher’s portrayal of the role became iconic. Now that Marcus has settled in, will the producers be killing off Nikolas Cassadine?

Bringing a character to life is a big responsibility, let alone trying to step in after another actor has made that role their own. General Hospital spoilers reveal Marcus Coloma recently sat down with co-star and host of State of Mind, Maurice Benard. The two friends discussed Coloma’s anxiety over the written script, along with his fear that the producers over at General Hospital were trying to kill off Nikolas Cassadine. 

Coloma admits to Benard, his experience with the role for the first two years brought on a significant amount of anxiety. Marcus explained, “a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot of anxiety because you read a storyline where you’re going to stab your son and you think, the producers, they obviously want my character to die. Like, they’re trying to kill me off.” Marcus went on to explain this type of scenario happened about four times throughout his first two years in the role.

Coloma’s anxiety and fears about the role didn’t end there. He revealed his fear that producers were “really dissatisfied with my work and I was going to die.”

Much time has passed since his arrival on the set of General Hospital. In that time, Marcus has been able to let go of his fears as he settled into and became comfortable with the role. He realized the nature of the soap opera/ daytime drama industry and what it entails. Coloma stated,  “I think I’ve finally come to a peace on it and honestly, as silly as it is or social media has helped a lot with it because it wasn’t just General Hospital, it’s this industry in general.”

Marcus and Maurice are not only co-stars but friends in real life. Coloma admitted how he gets through the stressful times, and Maurice has a hand in that. He touched on controversy within storylines and now fans perceive the characters. Explaining how he deals with the dark side of his role and the opinions of fans, he said, “And that’s my big thing… Let’s say work is super stressful because you’re sleeping with your son’s girlfriend and you just know that’s not going to go well for you in a month from now, people are going to hate you,” Coloma shared. “We have this great, funny comedy… people see it. I actually love being on General Hospital, I love being on the soap, but it’s really nice to counteract that and the amount of comments that say ‘Hey, I hate your character but I think you and Maurice are so funny and you seem like such a good guy’.”

A little comedic relief goes a long way when it comes to making it though daily struggles. Thankfully Marcus has a place to call home and a friend to help him through. General Hospital spoilers hint it’s safe to say Marcus doesn’t have to worry about TPTB killing off Nikolas Cassadine.

General Hospital comings and goings reports shared news of Thiebaud’s upcoming departure from the Emmy Award winning daytime drama back in August.

Why Is Britt Westbourne Leaving GH?

GH news reported Thiebaud has returned to Prime Time TV on ABC’s Station 19. She has reprised her role as Eva Vasquez. As Kelly makes her General Hospital exit, GH rumors speculate how her character, Britt Westbourne will exit the daytime drama. General Hospital Blog caught an Instagram comment made by Thiebaud regarding her future with General Hospital. She replied to a fan asking if the screws would be able to work both shows. Kelly’s positive reply eased the minds of fans, however, the details still hang in the balance.

It’s possible Britt’s current storyline involving Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) could lead to a temporary exit in the early stages of filming at Station 19.

GH rumors claim Cody’s past which connects him to Britt could drive her out of town for a while. If Cody faked Britt’s Huntington’s Disease diagnosis, how will she ever get passed something like that? Sure she will be thankful she’s a healthy young woman, but she will be furious to have gone through that.

General Hospital News And Spoilers: New Details Of Steve Burton’s Divorce Proceedings, Sale Of The Family Home, Custody And Support Come To Light

Details surrounding Steve Burton’s divorce to wife of 22 years have been developing since early Spring. Steve Burton and ex-wife Sheree Gustin [Burton] have been making headlines as a couple since 1999, but, since early May of 2022, the couple started making headlines for an unexpected reason. 

General Hospital recaps recall Sheree shared news of her pregnancy on May 4th. Her Instagram announcement caught the attention of eagle eyed writers here at General Hospital Blog. GH Blog ran with the story, sharing the exciting news. However, very soon after, GH Blog updated the news regarding Steve and Sheree. As it turned out, Steve Burton took to social media to make things clear. He revealed Sheree’s pregnancy was her own with another man and that the two were separated. Devastated fans rushed to their keyboards to support Steve. Some played Switzerland, not taking sides, as no one really knows what goes on between two people in their own home.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Steve filed for divorce a couple months later. GH news reveals sources close to the couple admit Steve and Sheree’s breakup has been in the works for some time. Their relationship was struggling, and the ultimate end was inevitable.

GH news and spoilers reveal Steve has demanded joint custody with soon to be ex-wife, Sheree, and has requested to be exempt from paying spousal support. His reasons for refusing to provide spousal support is a result of his wife’s pregnancy by another man.

Reports from People confirm Sheree did not sign a prenup before wedding the daytime soap star. Steve has motioned all separate items acquired by him during the marriage and after their separation be awarded to him. The actor also requests all items considered gifts or inheritance be declared his.

The sale of the Burton family home closed on May 25th, 2022, following news of Sheree’s pregnancy. Located in Corona Del Mar, the 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 1,827 sq. ft. condo sold for $3.2 million.
