It turns out, long time arch enemies, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Detective Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) will put the past behind them- at least temporarily, in order to work together to conquer a mutual problem.
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the latest threat to the city of Port Charles, which includes high profile residents such as Commissioner Jordan Ashford, (Briana Nicole Henry) Detective Marcus Taggert, mob boss Sonny Corinthos, and mob enforcer Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He is out for blood as he is dead set on getting revenge on Jordan and Taggert all while trying to move in on Sonny’s territory.
General Hospital spoilers indicated the old pair of enemies will soon join forces to take down Cyrus, their mutual threat. General Hospital rumors claim something crazy will go down at the high school dance where Sonny’s step daughter, Joss, (Eden McCoy) and Taggert’s daughter, Trina Robinson, (Sydney Makayla) will be in attendance.

McCall and Jackal P.I. has been on a hiatus as a team since Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) hasn’t been on her A game lately. When Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was away in Portland, Sam and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) briefly joined forces to form a new P.I. team. However, that was short lived due to Sam’s involvement in saving her sister, Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) fromthe Dawn of Day cult. Dawn of Day is still haunting Sam to this day as Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) death is still hanging over her head. Sam is unavailable to work with Spinelli to crack any case since she is on parole for the murder of cult leader, Shiloh.

Spinelli’s goal is to help his friends Sonny and Jason stop Cyrus from taking over Sonny’s territory and protect their loved ones from Cyrus. Curtis wants to get to the bottom of Cyrus and take him down in order to help his wife, Jordan and her partner, Taggert.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Jason will confront Curtis, possibly trading information or agreeing to keep each other in the look regarding their findings on Cyrus.

This brings us back to a few months ago when General Hospital spoilers indicated Jason’s instincts were right regarding Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab). General Hospital spoilers previously tied Dev to The Balkan/Theo Offman (Daniel Benzali). Since the writers put Dev’s Turkish decent up front and center quite a few times, it seems as though it was a hint toward what’s ahead. General Hospital rumors started, making claims that Dev is actually the grandson of The Balkan, and is in Port Charles to get revenge on Sonny and his family. Dev’s mother is rumored to be the one and only, Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil). Jason tried to make Sonny more cautious with Dev and Sonny assured Jason everything was fine. Jason’s instincts are usually on point. If so, there would end p being an ulterior motive for Dev to be in Port Charles. The question is, is Dev aware of the situation regarding The Balkan and his own Father and their connection to the Corinthos family?
Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) warned Mac Scorpio (John York) to be careful as something doesn’t feel right regarding this mob war involving Sonny and Cyrus. Taggert has a hunch that it’s bigger than it appears. Someone is pulling the strings on Cyrus, and it looks as though they’re from over seas.

General Hospital spoilers floating around General Hospital discussion groups, trying to figure out where GH newbie, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) fits in in regard to any connections/family in Port Charles. For a while, General Hospital rumors hinted that Trina may be a Cassadine. Nikolas Cassadine was in a relationship with Marcus Taggert’s sister, Gia Campbell (Marisa Ramirez). Fans then started throwing around the idea that Trina could be the daughter of Nikolas and Gia. General Hospital spoilers suggest there is a strong possibility Taggert is on his way back to Port Charles. If the one rumor is true, that Trina is Gia and Nik’s daughter, Taggert would be her Uncle. However some fans want to believe that Taggert is actually Trina’s Father, Mother unknown.
It remains to be seen if any of these GH fandom theories will reign true, or if they’ll fizzle out. What we do know is that Trina right now doesn’t really have a connection to the residents of Port Charles and sooner or later the writers will need to tie her to someone/family.
