General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Has Bigger Worries Than Cyrus, Like Austin’s Real Killer, Laura Learns Nikolas Killed Austin?

Laura learns Nikolas killed Austin
Laura learns Nikolas killed Austin

Laura Spencer Collin’s (Genie Francis) is a wife, mother, sister, friend, and the Mayor of Port Charles. That’s a lot to have on one person’s plate. On top of all of that, her family is full of drama.

Let’s start with the obvious drama source, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Since his Port Charles arrival and confession to Laura, he’s been nothing but trouble for the Mother Mayor. I like that. That’s what I’m calling Laura from now on. Mother Mayor. But seriously, Cyrus revealed that he was Laura’s brother and her life hasn’t been the same since.

General Hospital recaps recall that Laura’s worries about Cyrus lead her to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She questioned him about Cyrus’s potential involvement in Austin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder. That’s when Sonny informed her that he doesn’t think Cyrus killed Austin. Laura hates the thought of her brother having killed Dr. Holt. So she’s a bit relieved after Sonny’s insight.

Meanwhile, Cyrus is the least of Laura’s worries. Austin’s real killer isn’t there and GH rumors hint that he’s closer to Laura than her brother Cyrus. Apparently, Nikolas Cassadine frames his ex-wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West) in Dr. Austin Holt’s murder. Recent GH rumors and spoilers hint that Laura learns Nikolas killed Austin! It’s not her brother that’s a killer, it’s her son!

General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine Returns Like Never Before, Reclaims Wyndemere and Fights For Custody

Nikolas reclaims Wyndemere and fights Esme for Ace
Nikolas reclaims Wyndemere and fights Esme for Ace

It’s been almost a year since the last time that Ava Jerome (Maura West) saw her husband. She thought that she killed him and lived in fear ever since. With Austin’s help Ava was able to move and hide Nikolas Cassadine’s body. Although she and Austin were originally the only two [so she believed] who knew what she’d done, Ava eventually trusted Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with her secret.

GH recaps highlight last February when Ava was met with the beginning of this ongoing nightmare. Nikolas eventually spiraled out of control. That’s when he barged in and threatened to disappear with Ava and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) daughter Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). We all know what happened next. Inevitability, Nikolas returns to Port Charles. He isn’t done with Ava just yet after she practically killed him and then slept with the late Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). This means that Nikolas is ready for the ultimate comeback where he reclaims Wyndemere and fights Esme for Ace.

General Hospital spoilers warn that Esme could face a nasty custody battle. If she thinks that Spencer hanging over her shoulder is rough, wait until she experiences the Dark Prince. According to the latest General Hospital rumors, Nikolas returns with a vengeance. Spencer, Esme, and Ava are his driving force.

What will Esme and Spencer to do protect Ace? Just about anything… 😲

General Hospital Spoilers: Take The Poll ⬇️! Who Framed Ava Jerome?

Who framed Ava Jerome?
Who framed Ava Jerome?

Oh no! Ava Jerome was befriended, betrayed, and soon she’s be blamed! Allowing Austin to help her with Nikolas’s body was her biggest mistake. Then again, Austin had grander plans for Ava all along.

According to General Hospital recaps, Ava met Dr. Austin Holt quickly took kindly to each other in a strange way. In just a short time they went from fast friends to accomplices in a felony crime. They didn’t have undeniable chemistry, or even a strong desire or attraction. Instead, it seems like Ava believed that their friendship was genuine. As for anything beyond friendship, Ava admitted that she didn’t know what to make of their night together. Sadly, little did she know that Austin was lying to her the entire time.

Let’s just say that Ava handled the news in true fashion. Although surveillance cameras were operating properly inside the gallery, the footage won’t do her justice. Evidently, got captured on the security cameras is more likely to hurt Ava than help her. General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that it’s looking more and more like Ava killed Austin. However, that’s not the case, but it sure is what the actual killer wants everyone to believe.

General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Frames Ava For Austin’s Murder

Nikolas Frames Ava For Austin’s Murder
Nikolas Frames Ava For Austin’s Murder

I don’t know how you all feel, but I love Joe Sonny is looking out for Ava. The thing is that she isn’t the one who killed Austin but it sure looks that way, doesn’t it? What if that’s exactly what someone has planned for Ava Jerome (Maura West)?

General Hospital recaps highlight the emphases that was made on Ava and Austin’s relationship. Sonny pointed out the not-so-obvious to Ava how an outsider could believe that she is the one who murdered Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Might they think, a lover’s quarrel? It’s quite possible that no matter how look at it, Ava looks guilty as sin.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Ava has to do some quick thinking to save her own behind. Not too long ago she had to scramble to find a way to cover up what she thought was a homicide. As it turns out, she didn’t kill Nikolas Cassadine at all. In fact, he’s very much alive.

According to the latest GH spoilers and rumors, Nikolas isn’t just alive, he’s out for revenge. From the looks of things, Ava as a motive for murder. Nikolas frames Ava for Austin’s murder as the perfect payback. For one, Nikolas knows that Ava thinks that she killed him. And for two, it’s possible that Nikolas knows all about Ava’s bedroom rendezvous with Austin Holt.

Will Nik’s anger and jealousy send Ava straight to Pentonville?

General Hospital Spoilers: Who Killed Austin? Dante Questions Sonny About Austin’s Death

Who killed Austin Holt on General Hospital
Who killed Austin Holt on General Hospital

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and his father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have a mutual respect for each other’s career choices. Although they’re at opposite sides of the law, they’ve come to an understanding when it comes to family and business.

General Hospital previews indicate that a current situation puts Dante and Sonny’s understanding and respect for one another to the test. In a shocking twist, Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) was shot dead in cold blood. As a detective Dante must do what it takes to solve the crime, even if that means that he has to question his father.

Who Killed Austin Holt On General Hospital?

A doctor is dead and Dante has reason to believe that Sonny knows a little something about the situation. Of course, Sonny and Ava Jerome (Maura West) know more about Austin than some would guess, but that doesn’t mean they know who killed him. General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante investigates the crime and questions Sonny about Austin’s death. Some GH rumors claim that Cyrus Renault is the obvious choice, but something tells me that’s not the case. It just seems too easy.

Moreover, GH recaps recall the look on Austin’s face when he came face to face with his killer. He was puzzled to see this person but didn’t seem all that afraid. Did Ava lash out after she discovered that Austin’s been lying to her? Or is Nikolas Cassadine creeping around Port Charles with a vengeance?

General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Gets His Revenge! Austin Lies Lifeless On The Ground

Nikolas killed Austin for revenge
Nikolas killed Austin for revenge

Nikolas Cassadine has his share of reasons to stay far, far away from Port Charles. First, his relationship with his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was rocky ever since Nikolas faked his death. It’s understandable that Spencer felt abandoned, and distances himself from his father. Emotionally, the two were further apart than ever. Spencer was back from boarding school and living at Wyndemere, distance separated father and son.

Nikolas had other problems in his life but they all stemmed from the same issue. It was a vicious cycle back when Spencer and Esme both had it out for Nikolas and Ava. As a result, Spencer’s resentment towards his dad and step mom helped fuel Esme’s agenda. Additionally, Spencer unknowingly fed into Esme’s trap which helped lead Ava and Nikolas astray from each other. It was the straw the broke the camel’s back for Spencer.

Nikolas Killed Austin Over Ava?!

Once Esme seduced Nikolas and she became pregnant, time eventually did its job. It was only a matter of time that Spencer found out about how his father Nikolas slept with Esme. At this point Spencer had been betrayed by Nikolas enough. And on top of that, he found out who is girlfriend really was.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) was roped into the middle of it all between Nikolas and Spencer. But Ryan’s fixation on Ava fueled Esme’s entire plot, resulting in Ava’s marriage to Nikolas. According to General Hospital spoilers, Nikolas gets his revenge! The last time that he saw Ava was the night she thought she killed him. Until recently, Ava assumed that he was dead. Thanks to Austin, Ava was able to hide Nikolas’s body, or so she thought. That’s when one thing lead to another and Ava ended up sleeping with Austin. Now, Nikolas wants revenge.

GH spoilers and rumors tease that Nikolas killed Austin for revenge. He knows that Ava thought that she killed him, and the fact that she slept with Austin might be enough motive.

General Hospital News and Spoilers: Roger Howarth’s Dreaded Phone Call, GH and OLTL Star Exposes Truth Behind GH Exit

Why Roger Howarth Is Leaving GH
Why Roger Howarth Is Leaving GH

Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) was doing the right thing after doing a many things wrong. Although Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) pulls the strings, Austin still carried out criminal acts on top of the lies he told to Ava Jerome (Maura West). The thing is that Austin wasn’t a bad guy but he did bad things because Cyrus had the upper hand. After all, it was Cyrus who paid Austin’s way through medical school. But was it really worth it when Austin was never able to outrun his debt?

Earlier this week, General Hospital star Roger Howarth confirmed his GH exit and Austin Holt’s unexpected death. General Hospital recaps recall the latest storyline shocker! Dr. Austin Holt took the righteous path and was preparing himself to give Cyrus up to the PCPD in exchange for immunity. After all, he only commutes those crimes and told those lies because Cyrus and Mason (Nathanyael Grey) gave him no choice.

Austin Dies

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Howarth has filmed his final episode. His two and a half year run as the peculiar Dr. Austin Holt from Pautuck is over. But this isn’t the first time that Howarth’s role has been given the axe. The Daytime Emmy Winner is best known for his role as Todd Manning on One Life To Live. Since the Soap Opera’s 2012 cancellation, Howarth has played various Daytime TV roles. In fact, he became known for playing more than a couple characters on the same Soap. First Roger brought OLTL’s Manning to GH. Then, he was written off and he has played two other roles on GH following the Llanview legend. While General Hospital fans mourn Austin’s death and Howarth’s departure, hope remains that he returns as someone entirely new.

Why Roger Howarth Is Leaving GH

“Several weeks ago I got a phone call from somebody I’ve known for a very long time who I love very dearly [GH and OLTL Executive Producer Frank Valentini] telling me that when my contract was up at ABC I would not be offered a new contract and that the character of Austin would be killed, and that this was something they both wanted and needed to do to move story,” the iconic daytime television star revealed to Soap Opera Digest. “And it took me a minute to kind of adjust, to kind of hear the news; it took a second for me to let that settle in.

“And then, immediately, I realized how lucky I was to have been able to do something I really love doing for more than a decade with people who I really enjoyed working with,” Howarth continued. “I’m a lucky guy. I had a great run and this was a decision made by people who make these kinds of decisions for a living. For me, I felt it was very much like that scene in Moneyball and Jonah Hill had just told me I’ve been traded. I feel very respected and supported. For a long time, I’ve enjoyed coming to work, learning lines, and saying them with really cool people.”

Will Roger Return In His Fourth Role?

So much is to be said about a 30+ year acting career. Daytime Television has been luck to have a talent such as Roger. The best is yet to come!

Clearly, there is no bad blood between Howarth, Valentini, and TPTB over at GH. Roger’s statement clarifies any misunderstandings that may have developed through recent GH rumors. Although Roger cleared the air and shared the truth behind his GH exit, one thing remains uncertain. Soaps are known for some wild casting shifts. And it just so happens that Howarth is iconically known for his role change-ups. Three different roles on one drama is impressive but can he match co-star Michael Easton at four?

General Hospital News and Spoilers: GH Cuts TWO Roles From The Canvas, Austin and Mason Leave GH

Austin and Mason Leave General Hospital
Austin and Mason Leave General Hospital

A shocking reveal of last week’s Cliffhanger Friday changes took fans by surprise. Austin Holt lied there lifeless as he bled from a gunshot wound. Someone shot Dr. Austin Holt and left him for dead. Was it Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)? Or maybe Nikolas Cassadine? Hey, what about Ava Jerome (Maura West)?

Many had hoped that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), or that if he died then Roger could return as someone else. Sadly, neither of those ideal scenarios came true. Instead, General Hospital spoilers and news reports confirm that Austin is dead. GH Blog previously shared Roger Howarth’s GH exit announcement and confirmation.

Austin and his lollipop 🍭 licking cousin Mason have been up to no good. The difference is that Mason is seemingly rotten to the core while Austin has been forced by Cyrus. So if Mason is the real bad guy and Austin was forced to go along for the ride, then justice didn’t come through. Instead, Mason gets off with a slap on the wrist with a trip to Pentonville. Meanwhile, Austin, a doctor, winds up dead.

We are sad to see both of these actors and their roles go. Fans truly felt that Roger would return in a new role as he’s been notoriously known for role switch ups on GH. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. And as for Mason, the door was left open for Nathanyael and Mason to return.

General Hospital News and Spoilers: BREAKING! Roger Howarth Confirms GH Exit, Ends His Run On GH

Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt was shot and left to die. Immediately, GH fans feared the worst for their beloved character’s fate. It’s no secret that Roger Howarth has a dedicated Dan following. That said, it doesn’t really matter which time he played, Howarth was welcomed with open arms.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors regarding Howarth’s GH status after Austin was shot. Many feared the worst for Austin, dreading his sudden death. Meanwhile, other GH rumors speculated that Austin would recover. But those weren’t the only GH rumors surrounding Austin’s shooting. Additionally, GH fans mentioned the fact that they’ve killed off Howarth’s roles in the past, just to bring him back to the canvas as someone entirely new.

General Hospital BREAKING News: Austin Holt Dies Roger Howarth Exits GH

Sadly, GH fan’s fears have come true. According to GH news reports, Roger Howarth confirmed that his time at General Hospital is over. He took to Instagram to share the news, along with his gratitude for his experience at General Hospital. So many had hoped that Austin would live. But the love for this character came over time. At first, many were skeptical of the Pautuck doctor and mourned Franco Baldwin’s unexpected demise. Then, Austin began to grow on GH fans despite the fizzled ikr attempt at romance with Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Finally, Austin and Ava’s storyline brought fans to the edge of their seats as Cyrus pulled the strings.

Roger Howarth will truly be missed as we regret to confirm his GH Exit.
