General Hospital Spoilers: Liz Opens Her Heart To Another Man After Losing Franco

Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) recently suffered a great loss. Her husband, and stepfather to her boys was taken unexpectedly when he fell victim to Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) psychotic nature.

Liz has been mourning Franco’s (Roger Howarth) loss, first by throwing blame in the wrong direction at Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), then by dealing with the fallout surrounding her son, Cameron Webber (William Lipton), and now keeping herself busy and focused by diving into her work.

Elizabeth has been helping Dr. Finn in his quest to find a cure for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), as he too has fallen victim of Peter. Liz and Finn have been working closely together while trying to undo the damage Peter has done. Liz feels that Peter has already taken away her husband, so she’s going to do all she can to help Finn so that Peter doesn’t take Chase too.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth and Finn have made a deeper connection than anticipated, as it continues to grow as they work side by side to save Chase. The situation could get a bit awkward since Finn was in a relationship with Elizabeth’s sister, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), making Elizabeth an Aunt to Finn and Hayden’s daughter, Violet.

General Hospital rumors suggest Liz and Finn will develop deeper feelings for each other, causing a controversial relationship over the fact that it might be too soon after losing Franco for Liz to jump into a relationship, especially with her sister’s ex.

General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Is Determined To Stop Peter

Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) hadn’t had much time to grieve after the sudden loss of her husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). She immediately immersed herself in work and her kids, without fully processing the loss. Her anger was pointed in the wrong direction, and once she realized Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was innocent, she began to focus on Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

General Hospital previews show Elizabeth and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) talking in the hospital. It’s clear that Elizabeth is fed up with everyone Peter has done and the amount of loss so many have suffered because of him.

General Hospital News And Spoilers: Roger Howarth Admits Being Terrified To Return To GH

The entire General Hospital fan base was in total shock when Roger Howarth’s character, Franco Baldwin, was unexpectedly killed by Wes Ramsey’s, Peter August. Everyone knows Peter is crazy, but still, nobody saw Franco’s death coming.

General Hospital news reports quickly confirmed that Howarth‘s exit would be temporary. Immediately following the news that Howarth would be returning to GH, GH rumors began, surrounding the mystery of Roger’s new character’s identity.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal what it was like for Roger to return to the set of GH. In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Howarth opened up about his feelings upon his return. He told SOD, “I was straight-up terrified, 100 percent. I love what I do and I was glad to get back to it — but there’s a certain amount of nervous energy that showed up.”

He explains that he can’t make himself look much different physically, but must be different in other ways. He said, “I can’t change the way I look so much. So for this guy to be different, he has to speak differently and walk differently and to be honest, I’ve had mixed success and it’s taken me a bit — I’m still kind of figuring it out. [But] I hope the audience enjoys him, because there is some great story coming.”

General Hospital News: Austin To The Rescue! Welcome Back, Roger Howarth

The role of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), played by OLTL and GH’s, Roger Howarth, came to an abrupt and unexpected end when he was killed by Poet Charles super villain, Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

General Hospital news reports confirmed that although the character, Franco Baldwin, was indeed killed with no chance of resurrection, or was also confirmed that Baldwin’s portrayer, Roger Howarth, was exiting General Hospital only temporarily.

General Hospital rumors speculated the return of Howarth to possibly resurface the OLTL and GH character persona, Todd Manning. Those GH rumors were later squashed, revealing that TPTB did not want to bring Manning back on the canvas since his character was involved in the rape storyline surrounding Marty Saybrooke (Susan Haskell). Howarth also stepped into the role of Franco Baldwin after actor James Franco played the part which also involved a dark side, and alleged rape.

General Hospital spoilers finally reveal the identity of Howarth new role on GH, as his return debut aired on May 27th. Roger is now playing the role of a doctor named, Austin. So far he has delivered Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms), baby in the woods. Austin seems much different than Franco. We don’t know much about him yet, but from the first impression he gave, there seems to be a lot more light, as opposed to the dark past Franco had.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has weighed her options and now has made a decision that will betray trust while helping vindicate another. To Carly, the decision to potentially vindicate Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was easy. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t feel bad about betraying Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) trust.

General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Renault’s Obsession With Sasha Seems To Have Happened Overnight

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is working on a plan to help her Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) exonerated while he and Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) are running from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and the law. Sasha is pregnant with Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) baby and Carly is using that to her advantage.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Cyrus Renault is obsessed with Sasha and will become dangerously jealous if he finds out Brando is her baby’s father. But fans question how we got to this point. It’s true that Cyrus and Sasha we friends for a brief moment in time, but that friendship was of convenience on both ends. She wanted drugs, and he had what she wanted. But after her near death experience, Sasha woke up and realized Cyrus brings nothing but bad news. Other than a few minor run ins around Port Charles. Sasha and Cyrus haven’t really had much to do with each other, and now Cyrus is suddenly so obsessed with her that he wants the man who got her pregnant to be brought to him.

General Hospital rumors suggest Renault’s obsession with Sasha will make Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) finally see the light in order to help Peter’s her son and grandchild. Carly has hope that Gladys will see the threat of Cyrus knowing about Sasha and Brando, and keep quiet. All while turning on Cyrus and changing her story about Jason as the prime suspect in Franco’s (Roger Howarth) murder.

Pertinent information has dropped into Carly’s lap and although hesitant to betray Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) trust, she knows that nothing is more important than proving that Jason is innocent.

Carly will use Renault’s sudden obsession with Sasha to intimidate Gladys into dropping her statement and using her silence to protect her son. But if Gladys was capable of snitching on Brando, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and the Corinthos family about Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab), there’s no telling of Gladys will do right by her own family now.
