Van Hansis plays new Lucas Jones …New faces aren’t uncommon in daytime television, but they still come as a shock every time. This time, GH fans weren’t expecting any new faces other than the highly anticipated Lulu reveal.
Unexpectedly, another one of Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) family members popped up with a new face. According to General Hospital comings and goings, Lulu Spencer has been recast. Emme Rylan will no longer play Luke and Laura’s daughter. Instead, All My Children actress Alexa Havins has taken over the role.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Lucas Jones has been recast. Yes, Carly’s (Wright) cousin Lulu (Havins), and her brother Lucas (Hansis) have new faces. Previously, Ryan Carnes filled Lucas’s shoes. But this week Van Hansis debuted in the role.
Despite the new look, Hansis isn’t new to daytime television. In fact, the 43 year old actor played Luke Snyder on CBS’s As The World Turns. His time as Luke Snyder ended with ATWT’s final episode in 2010.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Van Hansis has joined the GH cast and seems to have made himself right at home. Check out Van Hansis and Kelly Monaco getting cozy on set.
Upon lengthy anticipation the people of Port Charles will come together to mourn the loss of Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman). Previously, General Hospital Blog shared the latest details on Jackie’s special tribute. Zeman’s television daughter Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos, revealed some of the raw emotion that developed behind the scenes.
Reportedly, Laura Wright makes note of the experience, explaining, “It was like we as a cast got to really say goodbye.” Since 2005 Wright and Zeman’s on-screen relationship developed and bloomed into what has mirrored a real life mother/daughter bond. Bobbie and Carly when from despising the sound one each other’s names to confiding in each other through their darkest hours. Carly, her mom Bobbie, and Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) make up three generations of Spencer women.
Lucas and Felix Return For Bobbie’s Memorial
According to the most recent you GH news and spoilers, General Hospital’s two-part tribute to Jackie and her character Bobbie Spencer will take place on January 10th and 11th. Additionally, People.com revealed exclusive photos. GH spoilers reveal that GH stars Ryan Carnes and Marc Anthony Samuel rush home to Port Charles for Lucas’s mom’s memorial.

The time has finally come for the people of Port Charles, along with GH fans to say their final farewell to General Hospital’s Jacklyn Zeman. Jackie played Barbara Jean Spencer, aka Bobbie Spencer, for about three and a half decades. In that time she became a television fan favorite. Her role as Bobbie was dramatic, exciting, and adventurous with a foundation based on down to earth and grounded character.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that the new year brings and overwhelmingly emotional start to the citizen of Port Charles. Bobbie Spencer’s death shakes its residents to the core, but no one is hit harder than Carly Spencer [Corinthos] (Laura Wright). Laura plays Jackie Zeman’s TV daughter, Carly.

Take a closer look at the above photo. There you will see Ryan Carnes (Lucas) and Marc Anthony (Felix) Samuel as they bring back Lucas Jones and Felix DeBios. Of course Lucas returns for his mother’s funeral. Aside from his relationship with Lucas, Felix worked with Bobbie as a fellow General Hospital Nurse. Do NOT forget to set your DVR for Wednesday, January 10th and Thursday, January 11th 2024.
General Hospital has been full of surprises lately, one being a major cast change.
The unexpected change last week through GH fans for a loop. Suddenly, a taller, darker haired man was seen on screen. Actor Matt Trudeau had debuted as a recast for the role of Lucas Jones.
General Hospital news reports Ryan Carnes toasts his co-star and friend, Parry Shen, who plays his love interest, Brad Cooper.
General Hospital spoilers reveal a recent Instagram post by Carnes. The photo contains Carnes and Shen toasting champagne. “It has been an absolute honor and privilege, my friend.”
Ava Jerome (Maura West) is once again at the mercy of the man who is obsessively “in love” with her. He has threatened her brother Julian Jerome (William deVry), if she doesn’t divorce Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Ava thought she could get away with falsifying divorce papers and presenting them to Ryan in exchange for the letter from Nelle which incriminates Julian.
General Hospital news and rumors leaked that William deVry was being let go from General Hospital, in his role as Julian Jerome.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava feels responsible for making a choice that will eventually put her brother, Julian, in danger. Ryan is more motivated than ever now to let Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and everyone else in Port Charles, the truth about Julian’s involvement with the kidnapping of Wiley, Sonny’s grandson, along with rigging the car that caused Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to crash. Ava knows that once Sonny learns the truth, Julian is as good as dead.
General Hospital rumors claim that Ryan won’t even wait for Sonny to go after Julian, but he may take matters into his own hands by getting plans in motion from behind bars. Since William deVry has been said to be let go from GH, there’s a high possibility his character will get killed.
Will the writers take this route and kill off Julian Jerome, or will the character be left with an open door to return?
Julian Jerome (William DeVry) just learned that his blushing bride, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) has been found dead in the Pennsylvania side of the river. Her body was identified, but at this point it’s unclear who identified the body. General Hospital spoilers reveal there will be more details to come.
In the wake of the news, Julian Jerome must spring into action before an incriminating document gets out to the PCPD, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and anyone else who matters. Julian is aware that Nelle has given a document to her attorney, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight), which incriminates Julian in his part in knowing about Wiley’s kidnapping, and rigging his own son, Lucas Jones’ (Ryan Carnes) and Brad Cooper‘s (Perry Shen) car, so that it would crash. Of course Julian didn’t expect his son Lucas to be in the vehicle at the time, so obviously his plan was reckless and backfired.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Martin Gray gets mugged, and General Hospital rumors suggest Julian Jerome is the mugger! General Hospital rumors hint that Julian mugged Martin, nabbing the briefcase which contains the incriminating document! Julian cannot risk the PCPD find out his involvement in Brad and Nelle’s scheme for Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), and goes to great lengths to get his hands on it.
Julian is making one mistake after another since getting involved with Nelle. Hopefully for his sake he can get that piece of paper in his possession before everyone in Port Charles finds out what an even bigger scumbag Julian actually is!
Julian Jerome (William DeVry) has found himself in an impossible situation with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Julian regrets ever getting himself entangled in Nelle’s web of craziness. It all began back when he found out she and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) told Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that his and Nelle’s baby had died, when in reality, Nelle gave the baby to Brad and Julian’s son, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). They passed him off as Lucas and Brad’s adoptive child so that Lucas wouldn’t find out the child died in Brad’s care.
Fast forward to the Nurses Ball Telethon 2020, Nelle thinks this is the perfect opportunity to make her move and snatch Wiley from the Quartermaine mansion. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is babysitting her great grandchild when Julian arrives in full on burglar attired. Nelle knows no boundaries when it comes to taking out any obstacle in her way. Monica happens to be the unlucky one who is in the wrong place at the wrong time.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Julian gets close to Wiley after using chloroform to make Monica pass out.
General Hospital rumors suggest this all becomes too much for Julian and he will end up selling Nelle out and come clean to Sonny- about everything! He figures, he fears Sonny enough to let himself get blackmailed by Nelle just with the knowledge of Wiley’s initial kidnapping. So what would Sonny do if he found out Julian kidnapped Wiley himself after knowing what he has known all along? Sonny would be even more furious and Julian would be as good as dead. At this point Julian probably feels like he has nothing to lose, so he may as well save Wiley from Nelle and look like the hero. That way Sonny would have to let Julian off the hook for not telling Michael Wiley was his. Hopefully Julian comes to his senses and stops bowing to Nelle’s every demand.
General Hospital returns with a bang with brand new episodes airing August 3rd.
General Hospital news reveals that story lines will pick up where they left off, before GH ran out of new episodes to air back on May 22nd.
Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) thought she was a step ahead of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and his new bride, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), when she showed up to the courthouse married to Julian Jerome (William DeVry).
New General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 3rd indicate Nelle will be shaken. GH rumors claim odds are Nelle’s plan to marry a mobster (Julian) will backfire and not give Nelle the outcome for which she was hoping.
Before the hiatus, in one of the last episodes, mob boss and Grandfather to Wiley, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), warned Julian to drop Nelle and this sham of a marriage like a hot potato. Julian knows that Nelle will tell all of she doesn’t do what he says, but he also doesn’t want to feel the wrath of Sonny.
Will Julian blow Nelle’s plan into pieces To save himself from Sonny? If he does, he will be risking his son Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) finding out about his involvement with the entire Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), Lucas, and Wiley, situation. Is that a risk Julian will be willing to take?
Julian Jerome (William DeVry) is stuck between a rock and a hard place. If he didn’t do what Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) wanted and marry her, then she would tell all about his involvement in Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones’s (Ryan Carnes) car crash. Julian himself is the reason his son Lucas was almost killed in a crash and Nelle wants the entire city of Port Charles to know it. But what she wants more is getting her way. In the latest General Hospital previews, Sonny (Maurice Bernard) gives a stern order. General Hospital spoilers hint that Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) know that Julian only married Nelle to keep a secret in the dark. Julian will have to choose between being Sonny’s target until the day he dies, or his son, Lucas finding out that he caused the accident.
Is Julian that afraid of Sonny and Jason? Probably. Will he purposely foil Nelle’s plan to help her get custody of Wiley, and deal with the fallout from Lucas, to save his own life?
Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) has suffered a great deal due to the actions of someone who claimed to love him. Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) was Lucas Jones’ husband, the person he was supposed to spend his life and build a family with. This is what Lucas was lead to believe by his deceitful husband. Instead, their lives fell apart when the truth finally came to light about Brad passing off Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) son as his adoptive child, while making Michael believe his son with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) had died. General Hospital spoilers revealed Nelle Benson got herself a husband. The big question still remains… WHO the Hell married Nelle?! General Hospital rumors claim Nelle went to Lucas with a plan, promising him this would be the best way to get back at Brad and to be a father to Wiley. Although Lucas will have reservations, as he cannot stand Nelle and doesn’t have any ill will toward Michael, GH rumors claim Nelle manipulated Lucas by using his anger for Brad and his weakness for Wiley has her tools to get her way. General Hospital spoilers reveal Nelle is about to make a BIG announcement in the courtroom. Did Nelle marry Lucas Jones, Wiley’s temporary parent, to enhance her chances at custody? Nelle marrying Lucas would mean so much more than that to Nelle. She despises Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Michael, and since Lucas and Carly are half siblings, it would be a huge slap in the face to Carly and Michael, if Lucas married Nelle. Nelle would win on so many levels, but could Lucas stoop so low?!
