Jason Morgan has always been the reason that Sam and Carly resent each other. Despite how far they’re come, Jason’s two leading ladies can’t ignore the fact that they’ve spent their adult lives fighting for the same man’s attention.

GH history tells the story of how Carly and Jason’s history comes before he ever met Sam. Although romance wasn’t really in the cards for Jason and Carly, she’s always been Jason’s highest priority. That is until Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) came into Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) life. Suddenly, Carly was second fiddle, while somehow still remaining Jason’s priority. According to GH history, Sam and Carly had resentment toward each other as they fought to be Jason’s number one. At some point, Sam came first and Carly felt rejected. But everything. Smoothed out eventually so that they could all live in harmony. Then, Sam dipped out on Jason, and Carly remained his BFF forever.

A lot has landed on the plate of the woman who can seemingly handle anything. But even the toughest of the tough need distraction from the everyday stressors of life. And what Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been facing lately is much more than the day to day challenges. Carly’s life has thrown more challenging curve balls her way as late.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly has a friend in Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) (and a yoga partner). The two ladies set out for some self care when they decide to hit up a yoga class as a way for Carly to clear her mind. Between the divorce and drama with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and the incident involving Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), a distraction is just what Carly needs.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sam and Carly’s Emotional Reaction

SamCarlyemotionalToday is the day that Jason Morgan’s wife finds out that her husband is actually alive after all this time. Sam and Jake worked together alongside their very good friend, Damian Spinelli, to uncover the truth about Jake Doe’s true identity. Carly stumbled upon Spinelli’s laptop and discovered the results. She ran straight to Jake with the evidence that he is the man she and so many other have been grieving for, for over three years.

Everything is about to come full circle as Jake and Carly arrive at the church where he and Liz were supposed to get married. Jake is about to announce that he is Jason Morgan, and yet he still doesn’t know that Liz has known this entire time.

The photo in this article shows an extremely touching moment between Sam and Carly. These two women would do anything for Jason, and they respect each other’s place in his life. This photo is a heart warmer without a doubt, and we cannot wait to see Kelly Monaco and Laura Wright’s amazing performances in this scene.
