To say that Gladys and Sasha’s scenes were heartbreaking is a gross understatement. Because not only is this entire storyline heartbreaking, for some it’s truly disturbing. I for one admit that I found it very difficult to continue watching after Gladys called the authorities.
In that moment my heart sank down to my stomach. Presumably, GH fans across the board felt the same sucker punch to the gut.
According to the latest General Hospital news and spoilers, GH fans express their distaste for this storyline and what’s happening to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Truthfully, I’m all for the storyline. While I understand and empathize with Sasha’s pain and suffering, I’m still able to appreciate the entertainment value. To be clear, yes, it’s difficult for me to watch what’s being done to Sasha. But that’s the entire point. The actors have made us feel exactly how we’re supposed to feel in a situation such as this.
According to GH spoilers, Sasha’s dark and tragic life could soon see a ray of light. Currently, fans are up in arms over what Gladys is doing to Sasha. We watched Gladys tip off the authorities so that she can continue to stay out of under Sonny’s radar. But under his radar is where she’ll be once word gets out. However, some are banking on the PCPD to bail them both. With Sasha’s help, that’s very possible if Sasha records Gladys and Dr. Montague’s confession!
Did Sasha’s happily ever after happen too easily? Honestly, I didn’t think so. In fact, I can speak for most GH fans when I say that Sasha has been through more than most. And frankly, she’s suffered enough.
What’s next for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson)? According to GH recaps, Sasha and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) plan to trap Greedy Gladys was a success. And the prank phone call worked like a charm. That’s when they got their queue to proceed with the plan. Sam just had her moment in the spotlight, but it’s Sasha’s time to shine.

Aside from some obvious crazies like Heather Webber and Ryan Chamberlain, people like Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) Ferncliff experiences differ greatly. For some reason this mental institution is the go-to place for twisted individuals to manipulate and torture the vulnerable. Take it from Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder), it’s really an ideal place to keep someone captive and under control.

Personally, I feel that this storyline while disturbing and difficult to stomach, it displaces Sofia Mattsson’s incredible talent. That being said, it’s doubtful that the actors and actresses want the fans to make threats about boycotting the show.

Cody freaks out on Mac! …Gladys Corbin (Bonnie’s Burroughs) have proven to be a master manipulator. She’s got Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and many others right where she wants them but in different ways.
On one hand, Gladys has the media and other outsiders fooled as they believe that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has had another psychotic break. On the other hand, she also has Cody right where she wants him. However, she has Cody cornered. He doesn’t believe Gladys for one second that Sasha has naturally fallen into this dark place. Deep down, he knows Sasha’s mother-in-law from Hell has a hand or two in this.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Gladys gets the best of Cody. She’s pushed him to the edge as he fights to save Sasha. Meanwhile, the latest GH previews indicate that Cody freaks out on Mac. Gladys Corbin’s restraining order against Cody further prevents him from getting close enough to rescue Sasha. Cody’s determined to see Sasha! …Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) suffers while her ex-mother/in-law Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) gets away with the unthinkable. So many are filled with greed and selfishness, but only a few are down right evil.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) isn’t the most selfish guy. In fact, he’s lied to, cheated, and stolen from people he’s claimed to care for. Still, his actions haven’t come close to the pure evil that exists within Greedy Gladys. GH news reports reveal many fans are up in arms over the current storyline. The controversial nature of Sasha’s story has ignited debate among GH fans.
Some say that they can’t bear to watch as Gladys and Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) torture Sasha. On the contrary, other fans are enthralled by Sofia’s performance. As far as I’m concerned, Mattsson is killing here storyline! Truly, this is her time to shine as an actress. Therefore, when fans threaten to stop watching because the story makes them uncomfortable, it’s found a disservice to the actors and all the artists who helped create the story. That uneasy feeling some feel when watching Sasha go through it is exactly what the actors want. You’re supposed to feel.
Without a doubt, we are rooting for Sasha and for Gladys’s downfall. Now, onto dirty details! According to GH spoilers, Cody’s determined to see Sasha. He’ll stop at nothing now that he realizes just how serious the situation is. With someone’s help, Cody plans to override whatever obstacle Gladys has in place. Not even she can stop Cody now.
Cody pleads to see Sasha! Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) digs himself deeper as he basically gets on his knees and begs. How much lower can he sink? Especially, when all he’s doing is looking out for someone else.

He works for Selina Wu (Lydia Look), and let’s just say it’s not an honest day’s work. Evidently, danger and threats come with the territory, but that doesn’t stop him.

However, this time he has good reason to have good intentions in his heart.
Obviously, Cody has a thing for Sasha. And even if he doesn’t, he definitely cares for her as a friend. He’s worried and he doesn’t trust Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). According to GH spoilers and rumors, Cody pleads to see Sasha. But with whom does he plead? GH rumors tease that he begs Selina for another favor- to get him in to see Sasha. But first, will he heckle with the Ferncliff staff?

Over at the PCPD Sasha, used her one phone call to contact Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Since Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) already attempted Gladys, Sasha used her call to call Cody, but he didn’t answer. Meanwhile, what else does this poor man have to endure in these Port Charles streets? From the looks of things, his fresh start in Port Charles is in worse shape than when he was back in Bensonhurst. Between his paternity scandal, the WSB, Selina Wu, and more, Cody’s clean slate could be worlds away.
According to General Hospital previews, Cody shows up at Sasha’s after missed her call. Like the manipulator she is, GH spoilers tease that Sasha is fooled yet again when Gladys sends Cody packing.
Sasha takes drugs! …Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is a real piece of work. She’s proven that she’ll never our life Sonny’s nickname for her. “Greedy Gladys” is the name to best suit the woman who care more about clout than she did her son. So why would anyone think she’s changed?

As if the first sign (when she sold Brando’s garage) wasn’t enough to raise more than one red flag, what she’s done now could put Greedy Gladys in jail.
