Gladys sends Cody packing! …It’s one thing after another with a Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Poor Sasha has no idea what kind of monster she’s really dealing with. Mistakenly, Sasha trusted Gladys to oversee her entire life. Now, Gladys’s stunt could be the beginning of the end for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). First, Gladys must get Cody out of the way.
Over at the PCPD Sasha, used her one phone call to contact Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Since Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) already attempted Gladys, Sasha used her call to call Cody, but he didn’t answer. Meanwhile, what else does this poor man have to endure in these Port Charles streets? From the looks of things, his fresh start in Port Charles is in worse shape than when he was back in Bensonhurst. Between his paternity scandal, the WSB, Selina Wu, and more, Cody’s clean slate could be worlds away.
According to General Hospital previews, Cody shows up at Sasha’s after missed her call. Like the manipulator she is, GH spoilers tease that Sasha is fooled yet again when Gladys sends Cody packing.
Sasha takes drugs! …Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is a real piece of work. She’s proven that she’ll never our life Sonny’s nickname for her. “Greedy Gladys” is the name to best suit the woman who care more about clout than she did her son. So why would anyone think she’s changed?
According to General Hospital spoilers, Gladys is back to her old way. As if the first sign (when she sold Brando’s garage) wasn’t enough to raise more than one red flag, what she’s done now could put Greedy Gladys in jail. GH spoilers and rumors tease that Sasha takes drugs after having been clean for so long.
Sasha grills Gladys! Greedy Gladys isn’t as slick as she thinks. The case of the missing bracelet doesn’t sit well with anyone. Especially Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Seemingly, it’s too convenient for the finger to point directly at Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Moreover, Gladys’s incessant proclamation that Cody stole her (borrowed) bracelet is suspicions. She thinks she’s successfully making Cody look guilty. On the contrary, Gladys is making it pretty obvious that she has an agenda. Meanwhile, Sasha has already been through so much. Thankfully, grieving shared losses originally brought Sasha and Gladys closer. At the beginning, Gladys was of great support to her daughter-in-law.
According to General Hospital recaps, it didn’t take long for Greedy Gladys to kick back into gear. And when she went from supportive, grieving mother, to betraying the woman she’s supposed to protect, she went full force. Gladys dipped right into an old vice. Her gambling addiction quickly took control. Then, the next thing Gladys knew, she was in the hole. It wouldn’t be safe to be indebted to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) for any length of time. As a result, Gladys abused her power as Sasha’s conservator. Now, all the deflection in the world can’t keep the truth in the dark.
General Hospital rumors hint that Sasha grills Gladys on her motives. Is Sasha onto her mother-in-laws lies?
Cody exposes Gladys!? Perhaps this storyline won’t drag on for months and months. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is being robbed by her own mother-in-law while their relationship continues to grow. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) abuses her power as Sasha’s custodian. However, she won’t get away with it for long.
Cody the con was arrested for stealing borrowed jewelry. Because of his checkered past, Gladys planned the perfect frame-up. Since he knows exactly what Gladys is up to, she figured she needs to keep him as far fr Sasha as possible. What better way then to make Sasha think he’s a no-good thief and get him sent to jail?
GH previews indicate that despite the fact that she’s not a cop, Cody gets interrogated by Sam. Apparently, her P.I. status allows for her to question him about the crime.
According to recent General Hospital previews, Cody mentions Gladys to Sam. If Sam gets him to crack, then Cody exposes Gladys! Gladys’s deal with Selina Wu lead to the sale of Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage. How could Gladys do such a thing? And lie about it to Sasha?! Well, her gambling took her down a dangerous path with Selina. Her only choice was to pay up. Although she didn’t have the means to fulfill her obligations on her own, she abused her power to save her on butt.
Gladys gets Cody arrested! Greedy Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is up to her old tricks again. As it turns out, change and personal growth only lasted about as long as a moon phase. It seems like she gave it a good week and then turned to her old habits. But seriously, Gladys’s self reflection surrounding her son Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) death gave Sasha and Sonny hope. Sadly, they will soon come to find that she hasn’t changed at all. And for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), her life is in the hands of a greedy, remorseless, thief!
Who does Gladys think she’s messing with? It’s one thing if she thinks Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will show her any type of mercy because they’re family. However, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is another story. Of course, Sasha will be devastated with what her mother-in-law got herself tangled up in. But the real consequences come from the powerful people in PC, Sonny and Selina.
But before all that, Gladys’s underhanded scheme buys her some time. According to the latest General Hospital previews and spoilers, Sasha notices that the bracelet she let Gladys borrow is missing from her wrist. We all know where it is, but Sasha is about to be fooled by the woman she trusted with her entire life.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is called upon to make an arrest. Although everyone basically knows everyone in Port Charles, but this arrest hits close to home for Dante. Because of Gladys’s despicable frame job, and Cody’s already tarnished reputation, it’s believed he stole the borrowed jewels right from Gladys’s wrist. While it’s obvious to the audience that Cody is innocent, but will his childhood friend and new acquaintances believe his guilt? Most importantly, will Sasha?
Gladys is at Selina’s mercy. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has a reputation among those who know her well. Over the past few years, she’s cleaned up her ways enough to gain trust from friends and family. She and her daughter in law of the late Brando are closer than ever.
As far as Gladys’s past goes, General Hospital recaps summarize her reputation as money-hungry, a user, and greedy. In fact, Gladys’s cousin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) nicknamed her “Greedy Gladys,” during a heart to heart at her son Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) memorial. During that conversation, Sonny also let her know that he’s still leery over her greedy ways.
Moreover, Sasha struggled with losing Brando while still healing from losing baby Liam. Aside from her great losses, Sasha’s history with drugs played a huge role in her having a conservatorship. “The Face of Deception” trusted Brando with her entire life. Actually. Because Brando passed away, Sasha needed another conservator. Feeling scared, but after consideration, Sasha entrusted her entire life to her mother-in-law. Despite Gladys’s past, Sasha opened her heart to give her a chance. Now, General Hospital spoilers reveal Gladys betrays Sasha’s trust and her choices have consequences.
In the midst of all the Nurses Ball excitement, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) keeps his eye on Sasha’s mother-in-law. He knows what she’s done and contemplates telling Sasha. It seems that Gladys has fallen into her old ways. Taking risks, using what’s not hers, and using loved ones for personal gain is why Sonny named her “Greedy Gladys.” She sold her own son’s garage to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) right from under Sasha. She’s capable of even worse.
According to General Hospital previews, Gladys is at Selina’s mercy. Because of her insurmountable loss, she makes another bold move at Sasha’s expense. This can only end very badly.
Cody comes clean to Sasha? If Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) ever wants a real shot at something more than friendship with Sasha Gilmore, he had better not fall into the same bad habits. In the past, lying came so easily to Cody. Now that he’s contemplating how to handle the current situation with Sasha, Gladys, and Selina, perhaps he’s ready to tell the truth. But will he rise to the challenge and choose honesty over self preservation?
If any situation is an opportunity for Cody to do the unexpected and tell the truth it would be this predicament with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), and Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Due to the fact that this isn’t his lie, it should be easier for Cody to come forward with the truth. But is it his truth to tell?
Cody Comes Clean?!
Although this isn’t his secret, GH rumors predict Cody’s personal gain in all of this is reason enough for him to keep quiet. He continues to bank on Sasha’s suffering due to his business entanglements with Ms. Wu. With Selina running things, it may not be the safest idea to rat out Selina and Gladys’s business dealings. She’s proven herself as a cut-throat business woman who stops at nothing to get what’s hers. And when someone makes a deal, they better give Ms. Wu what’s rightfully hers if the situation arises.
As General Hospital recaps recall, Cody’s con artist ways got in the way of a true connection. Lying to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) right out the gate ruined any chance to develop a romantic relationship with Britt. Lies and more lies. Moreover, Cody’s greed lead him to lie to his biological father. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) has no idea he has a son. Let alone the fact that his son is a man who recently disclosed that Mac is NOT his father. What Mac doesn’t know is that Cody lied to Mac and everyone else to fit his agenda. It was more convenient to be Leopold Taub’s son. As he chased the Ice Princess, Cody believed his financial troubles would melt away.
Is Cody’s Conscience Stronger Than His Greed?
Now that things didn’t go according to plan, the guilt surrounding his decision to lie to Mac is starting to set in. But perhaps he can pacify his conscience by coming clean with someone else’s secret. According to General Hospital spoilers, Cody contemplates whether or not he should tell Sasha the truth about what’s going on between Gladys and Selina. As noted above, Selina is cut-throat. If Cody starts putting his nose where it doesn’t belong when it comes to Selina’s business dealings, it could mean major trouble for the Bensonhurst bro. Furthermore, Gladys’s gambling situation puts money right into Cody’s pockets. He’s always been hard up for cash. Will Cody let greed guide him into another mistake?
Sasha and Cody catch feelings for one another!? Can anyone put a timeframe on grief? To lose someone you love changes you in ways never imagined. For Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), the grieving process is ongoing. So, how will she know if and when shes’s ready to move on after Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) death?
General Hospital recaps revisit Sasha’s struggles. Prior to losing her husband, Sasha and Brando suffered the loss of their newborn son, Liam. The unthinkable tragedy along with Sasha’s substance abuse history created the perfect storm for her downfall. And through it all, Brando was right by her side. Sadly, Sasha’s downward spiral resulted in a court ordered conservatorship. Quite literally, Brando became his wife’s everything.
Sasha and Cody Catch Feelings
As a whole, there’s no denying the love between Sasha and Brando. But, at some point moving on is inevitable. General Hospital fans noticed a tell-all clue that Sasha soon moves on. Observant viewers recognized background music during Sasha and Cody’s scene on the March 8th episode. Historically, the type of background sound played at that time is possibly a major hint for what’s to come. According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, the specific sound alludes to two people who have potential for more than friendship.
Fans are rooting for Sasha to find happiness. With so much loss in her life, Sasha grieves her own way. Only time will tell if and when she’s ready to find love again.
Cody betrays Sasha. Good intentions or not, the outcome is still the same. Going behind someone’s back isn’t the best way to gain their trust and infiltrate your way into their life and heart.
General Hospital recaps recall Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) blurry past and cloudy present. Upon arriving in Port Charles, Cody mislead his old and new friends. His plot to seek out Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) didn’t exactly go as planned when he realized he fell for her and was lying to someone he cares for.
General Hospital spoilers reveal, although Cody regrets using and deceiving Britt, that doesn’t stop him from lying to his father. His one mission in Port Charles is to chase after fortune. Originally, his target was Britt. However, his plan foiled for many reasons, including his feelings for Britt. Then, he chose to lie to a good man about his paternity just so he could seek wealth. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) never had children of his own; or so he thought. Unfortunately, Cody continues to hide the fact that he is Mac’s son even though he genuinely cares about him and his family.
Apparently, lessons haven’t been learned. According to recent General Hospital previews, he lies to another good person when Cody betrays Sasha. GH spoilers reveal Cody’s intentions are to help, but, his approach is damaging. He remembered Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) from his position under Selina Wu (Lydia Look) at The Savoy. Gladys is in some major hot water after losing a significant amount of money that she doesn’t have.
General Hospital rumors: In his attempt to swoop in and help, Cody goes behind Sasha’s back to try and help Gladys fix what she’s done. Gladys was in over her head with Selina. She then betrayed Sasha to cover her losses. Will Cody have any influence on Selina in regard to Gladys’s debts?
Cody gets to know Sasha; is Sasha ready to move on? Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) found the love of her life when she fell in love with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Brando was by her side through all her struggles and triumphs, giving her the love and support she needed. In turn, Sasha loved and supported Brando equally, in her own way.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha stumbles upon another listening ear after her candid confessions to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Sasha and Chase’s friendship stems from a long history trust and mutual respect. After losing Brando, familiar faces offered their shoulder as a place to rest Sasha’s head and ears to express her grief. She trusts her inner circle to be there for her and have her best interest at heart. Sadly, there is someone among her circle who proves themselves untrustworthy.
General Hospital previews reveal Cody gets to know Sasha a little more when he learns that her mother-in-law is Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Through his dealings with Selina Wu (Lydia Look), Cody recognizes Gladys’s name and her association with Selina and her poker ring.
Gladys is in deep with Selina. Ever since the loss of her son Brando, Gladys is using gambling as a vice to get her through the grief. Meanwhile, Sasha remains unaware of her mother-in-law’s behavior. GH rumors suggest that Cody’s develops concern for Sasha based on what he knows about the woman in charge of her estate. Cody knows more about Gladys in that world than Sasha does. Will he open up to Sasha and give her a warning?
