If you’re a General Hospital fan then you must be very familiar with Port Charles’s spunky attorney, Scott Baldwin. His close family and friends call him Scotty.
General Hospital news reports that Kin Shriner has been known for his GH role since 1977. Although Kin’s time on GH as Scotty was scattered over the years, he remain the reigning actor in the role.
GH’s Kin Shriner Undergoes Surgery
Currently, Kin Shriner is off the canvas, and GH spoilers tease that Scotty is nowhere in sight in Port Charles. According to a recent update, Kin Shriner reveals that he underwent surgery. The iconic daytime actor took to Instagram to address fans on the importance of keeping your body moving after surgery.
We wish Kin all the best and pray for a speedy recover! GH Blog will keep fans up to date on any GH news regarding Shriner’s status with the 61 year old Soap Opera.
Hear me out. On January 4th, General Hospital announced Steve Burton’s long awaited return as Jason Morgan. Co-stars Steve Burton, Kelly Monaco, and Laura Wright surprised fans during GH’s 60th anniversary celebration in Prime Time. From that moment, GH fans couldn’t put down all the possibilities for Jason’s new storyline.
Jagger Isn’t Just Any Old FBI Agent- He Has Ties To Port Charles
Then, on February 6th, GH brings back an iconic character, John Jagger Cates. Adam Harrington debuts as Jagger. The role was previously played by Antonio Sabato Jr. While any old FBI Agent would do, GH decides to bring back a character with history. This storyline involving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna Devane (Finola), Pikeman, and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), could have sufficed with a random Agent. Instead, they brought back someone who has ties to Port Charles. Specifically Jason Quartermaine/Morgan and Sonny Corinthos.
Jagger’s Got Beef Over Karen, And Jason Can’t RememberA Thing
GH recaps recall that Jagger recently disclosed that his beef isn’t with Jason Morgan. Nope. He admitted that his problem was with Jason Quartermaine, the man Morgan was before the accident. Oddly enough, Agent Cates, aka Jagger, incessantly name drops his and Jason Quartermaine’s ex, Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne). He can’t seem to get over the past.
Like Father, Like Son
Moreover, other clues lead to the latest GH rumors. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pointed out the similarities between her mom’s best friend Jason, and Dex, the man Joss loves. Dex and Jason were both loyal to Sonny, and even more loyal to Carly Spencer (Corinthos). They’re both honorable men whose skills come in handy when a life is at stake. Is it a coincidence that Jason and Dex both had a hand in saving Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) life? Like Jason, Dex puts his own life on the line like he has nothing to lose. When in reality, they both have a lot to lose.
Overall, the timing of both Jagger and Jason’s return raised questions among fans. The writers could have easily brought a new character to the canvas. Instead, GH chose to utilize a role that has connections to Sonny and Jason, and the rest of PC. In addition, Agent John Cates admitted that he still can’t stand Jason Quartermaine, the man Morgan used to be. Another clue is that Jason confessed that he cannot remember anything from his high school days due to injuries resulting from his and AJ’s (Sean Kanan) car accident.
Dear Old Dad, Scotty Baldwin
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Jason and Karen had a teen pregnancy. Most likely, Karen hid her pregnancy from Jason and almost everyone in Port Charles. So, how did she pull it off? Well, GH rumors tease that none other than dear old dad helped Karen cover up her pregnancy. Or Karen had a baby, where is the child now? Who is Karen and Jason’s secret child? One possibility has caused major debate among fans. Based on the latest GH rumors, today we know him as Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Ironically, it just so happens that speculation around Dex’s paternity has been a hot topic among GH fans. GH recaps highlight Dex’s family history. His background seems blurry at best. Previously, we learned that he doesn’t get along with his brother’s. And his overall home life led him to stray from the family. According to GH rumors, Dex was adopted.
All of these clues paired with the fact that Soap Opera love a good “who’s the daddy?” story, leads to a highly possible outcome. Has Jagger’s resentment toward Jason lead him to have this vendetta?
Old habits surely die hard, especially when encouraged. Some would even say provoked, but either way it’s a never ending cycle. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) simply can’t help herself with it comes to petty revenge.
Lucy and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) continue to take turns hitting each other where it hurts. Over the years these two have gotten to know one another’s strengths, weaknesses, and what sets them off. Tracy and Lucy have been going at it for years, and 2024 is no different. From stealing husbands to corporate espionage, nothing is off limits to Tracy and Lucy.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Lucy hasn’t learned her lesson. Bobbie’s memorial put things into perspective for a while, but GH spoilers indicate they neither Lucy nor Tracy choose to keep the peace in Bobbie’s honor. Instead, Lucy has already been plotting her attack. Her plan against Tracy involves time spent with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), and Martin wants answers. Thus far, Lucy’s skated around Martins concerns, but her time has run out. Today’s GH spoilers tease that Martin grills Lucy about Scott. Will she continue with a cover up or let Martin in on the truth?
It’s safe to say that no matter the circumstances, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). In fact, they can’t even be civil with one another for more than a few minutes. Their latest blowout cut deep for them both which sparked a mutual fury.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors claim that the seriousness of Lucy and Tracy’s rivalry intensifies in the coming weeks. The fight over Deception marches on but their issues go far beyond a cosmetics company. Originally, their troubles were founded on men, money, and good ole fashioned jealousy.
Lucy and Tracy both stew over their anger after the last spat between them. General Hospital previews indicate that Tracy and Lucy run into each other at Bobby Spencer‘s memorial. It’s a difficult time for all of Fort Charles, so everyone should be on their best behavior. Reportedly, GH spoilers tease that Tracy is the bigger person first. Recent GH previews show that Tracy and Lucy call a truce when Tracy approaches Lucy with the notion to set their differences aside in Bobbie’s honor.
So who plays who in this scenario? Both brilliantly conniving, either of these powerhouse women could have the upper hand. GH rumors tease that even if Lucy agrees, they’re both probably blowing smoke and playing each other for fools.
Once a sheister always a sheister. That’s how I feel about Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Deep down it seems like he has a good heart, but everything in between is a big ole mess. Blurred lines run in all directions in Scott’s life. From his career to his relationships, there’s always so clouded, gray area where Scotty is involved.
And by “gray area,” what we really mean is flawed intentions and tactics. Even when he truly loves someone Scott, Baldwin can’t manage to keep things pure and honest. as for the law, he might know how to win, but his practices are not black-and-white.
General Hospital recaps highlight his recent and firm break up with Dr. Liesel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) after Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) died things have not been the same between them, and now Scotty must move on. According to General Hospital spoilers, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and her old friend Scotty team up to take down Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Meanwhile, Lucy tried to play it tough when she was arguing with Tracy. Then once Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) stepped in, it was like Lucy had the rug pulled from under her. She wasn’t just battling Tracy her long time rival. She now faces a younger, and maybe even spunkier Quartermaine. Although Lucy played like she was so in love with Martin, General Hospital rumors indicate that she and Martin Gray are on their way to the end of the road. GH spoilers tease that Lucy’s scheme for Scott to marry Tracy serves as the catalyst for bringing her and Scotty back together.
You never know what can happen. Scott and Lucy were once madly in love, and had a daughter named Serena Baldwin. Maybe neither of them can settle down with another because they are meant for each other.
What has Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) so freighted?! The good thing is that she is all in one piece, and thus far, her loved ones are too. Undoubtedly, something startles her since Sam leaves Alexis’s in terror.
According to the latest GH spoilers, Molly’s (Holiday Mia Kriegel) fertility crisis is the Davis girls’ biggest direct drama. That being said, her mom Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and sister’s, Sam and Kristina (Kate Mansi) are right there with her. Moreover, as for other drama, Curtis Ashford’s crisis touches Molly directly, and the rest through Molly. So, the fertility ordeal remains pretty much front and center aside from Curtis. And we’re all praying for Curtis to pull through.
GH spoilers and previews indicate that Sam is deeply troubled when someone sets her off. Because GH previews show that Sam leaves Alexis’s in terror! So, who could be inside Alexis’s home while she is out meeting with Sonny? Last time Alexis had an intruder, it was Harmony! Who could it be this time? Someone less dangers that’s for sure. (Ppsst maybe Scotty?! (Kin Shriner)). Sam’s a P.I. Therefore, she’s suspicious by nature. But Scotty isn’t known for his coyness. In fact, Scott tends to be an in-your-face kind of guy.
Kin Shriner leaves GH as Scotty Baldwin! Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) found love again with Scott Baldwin. They both bonded over losing Franco (Roger Howarth), as Liesl was close friends with Scotty’s son. Although she blamed him in part for adding to her anguish, Scott was by Liesl’s side as she grieved for her daughter, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
GH news reports reveal that Shriner began his run as Scotty Baldwin back in 1977. The actor who originated the role made the character his own with his quick-witted comments and sarcastic banter. He went on to become part of one of the most memorable and tragic romance stories in daytime. He and Shell Danielson knocked Dominique Stanton’s love and loss story out of the park. Sadly, General Hospital Blog confirms that actor Kin Shriner has been let go from ABC’s General Hospital.
Kin Shriner Leaves GH- Scotty Baldwin Written Off!
In a recent tweet, Shriner announced that his character was written off of the General Hospital script. Shockingly, the daytime TV vet shared the news late Tuesday night via Twitter. GH spoilers and news reports reveal that the fans aren’t the only ones in shock over the news. As it turns out, Kin Shriner is as also taken by surprise, and not the good kind! Why did the writers write Scotty Baldwin off the canvas? Well, we aren’t quite sure. However, rest assured we will keep fans posted on any new developments.
