Since his memorable role as Todd Manning on ABC’s One Life To Live, Roger Howarth has been an icon and fan-favorite. Despite OLTL’s 2012 cancellation, Roger’s popularity grew. That’s because he landed himself a role on ABC’s longstanding General Hospital. Fast forward to today and we all know the rest.

There’s no doubt that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is a true friend. Even more than that he is loyal and authentic. He’s there for Anna in good times and in bad, and he’d never betray her trust. On the other hand, Valentin Cassadine claims to love Anna but doesn’t think twice about compromising her well-being to suit his needs.

Recently, Silzer spoke with Soap Opera Digest regarding her GH return. “My mom told me I was jumping for joy,” She admitted. GH spoilers reveal that Brooklyn Silzer also disclosed the duration of her time at the Daytime Emmy winning drama. “I was so excited to be back and see everyone! I was there for two days, and I was so glad I got to spend a little extra time with some of my favorite people, like [on-screen grandparents] Finola [Hughes, Anna] and Tristan [Rogers, Robert].”
Sadly, it looks like the all grown up Emma Drake was only here to brighten her grandparent’s holiday.
Reportedly, the 17 year old has been applying to nursing school. “I’m pretty busy with school,” Silzer explained. “I’ve been applying for nursing school. That takes up most of my time. I’m taking pretty hard classes this year, but I’m hoping to stay local for college, maybe I can come visit General Hospital more often. That would be really cool.” It’s kind of an ironic career choice she and admits that her time on General Hospital “definitely inspired” her career path. She continued to divulge her reasoning, “ever since I started, I’ve known I wanted to be a nurse, I think since I was six years old. I always said, ‘I want to be a nurse when I grow up,’ and it just stayed with me, and I’ve become more inspired as I’ve been doing volunteer work throughout my high school years.”

Cameron Mathison is one of the most recognized names in daytime television. He’s also played roles in multiple Hallmark Channel movies, various television shows, and was also a talk show host. Arguably, his role as Ryan Lavery on ABC’s All My Children set his career into high gear. Prior to landing the role in 1998, Mathison worked as a male model.
Today, Cameron Mathison is General Hospital’s Drew Cain. He joined the now 60 year old daytime drama in April of 2021. Mathison took on the role of the now-late Billy Miller after that actor left the role in 2019.

A shocking reveal of last week’s Cliffhanger Friday changes took fans by surprise. Austin Holt lied there lifeless as he bled from a gunshot wound. Someone shot Dr. Austin Holt and left him for dead. Was it Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)? Or maybe Nikolas Cassadine? Hey, what about Ava Jerome (Maura West)?
Many had hoped that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), or that if he died then Roger could return as someone else. Sadly, neither of those ideal scenarios came true. Instead, General Hospital spoilers and news reports confirm that Austin is dead. GH Blog previously shared Roger Howarth’s GH exit announcement and confirmation.
Austin and his lollipop 🍭 licking cousin Mason have been up to no good. The difference is that Mason is seemingly rotten to the core while Austin has been forced by Cyrus. So if Mason is the real bad guy and Austin was forced to go along for the ride, then justice didn’t come through. Instead, Mason gets off with a slap on the wrist with a trip to Pentonville. Meanwhile, Austin, a doctor, winds up dead.
We are sad to see both of these actors and their roles go. Fans truly felt that Roger would return in a new role as he’s been notoriously known for role switch ups on GH. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. And as for Mason, the door was left open for Nathanyael and Mason to return.
It’s a good thing that Roger Howarth’s versatility is evident through in his performances. The roles he plays tend to change up like the wanderer trying to find themselves. Over the years Howard has played many different roles in daytime television. But his iconically known role is one soap fans will never forget. These groups have been labeled as unofficial and deemed a scam after having been exposed by Tyler’s friend April Grant. Moreover, other GH rumors surrounding Tyler’s life and death began in conjunction with the fake fundraisers. These posts made claims that the money was for funeral expenses and the life. However, Grant has taken to Tyler’s Instagram to debunk any rumors that suggest Tyler “left this world without proper planning is completely false and degrading.”
