So, there’s no doubt that the Metro Court shooting is mob-related, and families are torn apart after what goes down. Thankfully, Dante was already at the scene. But is that enough to avoid fatalities?

Originally, he took an employment offer from Sonny’s son Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell). And despite the position’s uniquely dangerous job description, Dex assured Michael he’s the man for the job.

Does Dex Understand The Assignment?

After meeting with his potential candidate, Michael thought that Dex seemed to fit the position well. Accordingly, Sonny’s son proceeded with his plan to use Dex to take down his own father. It was then when Dex began working for both Michael and Sonny.

General Hospital recaps recall Sonny’s suspicions of his new employee. It is loyalty and trust that Sonny holds in high regard, honoring those who possess these qualities. So, if anyone betrays him, there’s no going back. Sonya Eddy’s cause of death. …It’s with great sadness that we share the news of General Hospital star Sonya Eddy’s sudden passing. Sonya played the iconic head nurse Epiphany Johnson since 2006.

GH spoilers reveal an interesting piece of information about Sonya. We learned before she played a Nurse on GH, Sonya wanted to become a lawyer. The actress admitted she didn’t want to be an actor. But, “something bigger” she was pushed into. Sonya admitted acting, “is really something that I feel like I was pushed into. … This was a God thing. This was not a choice,” she said. “I didn’t want to be an actor. I tried not to be an actor. But something bigger had a better idea than I did.”

General Hospital news and spoilers reports reveal Sonya Eddy’s cause of death. According to friend Tyler Ford, Sonya died after a non-emergency surgical procedure. She went in for surgery on December 9th and was released from the hospital on the 11th. Following her return home, GH star became ill and returned to Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank on the 15th. Then, an infection developed after surgery which became uncontainable. Consequently, Sonya was placed on life support on Monday.

Friend of Sonya and fellow actor Octavia Spencer broke the news on social media. On Tuesday, Spencer announced Sonya had died on Monday.

Victor has been able to successfully manipulate and blackmail those around him but his luck is about to take a turn. Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), snd Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) out-smarted Victor by faking the cabin fire. As a result of the fire and their genius work, he is scrambling to get his hands on the Ice Princess.

General Hospital previews indicate Victor’s luck takes a turn as the entire city of PC comes for him. His son Valentin is suffering ever since Victor framed Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for shooting Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Robert is still the only one who knows Holly shot Lucy, leaving even Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight in the dark. Martin is distraught over Lucy’s disappearance and is determined to get answers. Valentin is doing everything in his power to help Anna, which in turn helps Martin. Mac warns Valentin abiut what’s to come in the fight to stop Victor.

General Hospital Spoilers: Vanessa Marcil’s Work Ethic Raised Concerns With Former Co-Star, Gets Called Out; Was It A Lesson Learned?

If you have been following soap operas for a long time like most of us daytime tv fans, it’s likely you know a little something about the filming style and schedule of a soap actor.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Maurice Benard sat down with daytime star, Rena Sofer, on the YouTube series, State of Mind. In the interview, the longtime friends discussed many aspects of life, focusing on their time together while playing Bensonhurst Besties, Sonny Corinthos and Lois Cerullo. Sonny and Lois had counterparts, or, love interests at the time that completed what was referred to as, the fearsome foursome. Vanessa Marcil and Wally Kurth played along side Maurice and Lois as Brenda Barrett and Ned Ashton.

In Maurice’s interview with Rena, she recalled a specific time while on set with Marcil; an incident that occurred m which set the tone for their working relationship was the turning point for the young actress. Rena recalled a time when Vanessa was late, didn’t show up, and Vanessa told Rena, “Oh, I’m so sorry, I overslept.” Sofer continued to disclose that Marcil didn’t make entry lines. Rena explained, “And I just remember looking at her and going, ‘I don’t care who you do that, don’t do it with me. I don’t want that.’” Surprised by Sofer’s admission to being bold and straightforward with Vanessa, he asked how she took it. Rena admitted, “I think it really affected her,” she continued, “And maybe she doesn’t even remember that I said that. I think it affected her because every time we ever worked together again, we worked to make our relationship deeper than what they were writing it, which I think is why it was so intense and beautiful.”

Rena and Vanessa’s relationship deepened from that point on. Sofer made it clear that she expects out of her co-workers, the same type of dedication and effort as she puts in. Giving it their all has a lot to do with the success of their era. GH fans couldn’t get enough of Ned and Lois, Sonny and Brenda, and of course, Lois and Brenda. L & B Records was iconic and the bond between Lois and Brenda was as strong as that of Rena and Vanessa.

It’s nice to reflect on the good ole days, back in the 90s when Sonny Corinthos was making a name for himself around Port Charles. After all, coming from Bensonhurst gives immediate street cred.

ABC’s scheduled programming of General Hospital airs weekdays, Monday through Friday at 2PM Eastern/Standard time.

General Hospital is at the mercy of the network, and from time to time our regularly scheduled soap opera is either interrupted or presented due to some other airing needs.

General Hospital news reports confirm that GH’s Friday, October 7th episode will be preempted due to coverage of the Major League Baseball Wildcard Game.

General Hospital spoilers reveal coverage of the MLB game will start at exactly the 2PM eastern time slot as would GH. The game (potential overtime not predicted) until 5PM. On the West coast, GMA3: What You Need To Know, normally airing at 1PM eastern, will also be presented.

General Hospital news reports confirm that GH star, Nancy Lee Grahn, has taken to social media, using her voice and platform to stand up for a cause that she holds near and dear to her heart. The cause she stands for you ask? The up-charge for non-dairy creamers at the worldwide epicenter for coffee. Yes that’s correct, Grahn has a major beef with Starbucks.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nancy Lee Grahn, aka GH’s Alexis Davis, is distraught over the cost of the world’s most popular morning pick-me-up. Grahn tweets, “Is it that hard to get a coffee somewhere else besides #Starbucks? We can actually hurt these Companies if we’d just collectively not buy their anti union overpriced S**t!  #UnionsWork.”

The soap star makes it abundantly clear that she has no intentions of picking back up her Starbucks habit, revealing she ditched the scene when Covid hit. She explains, “I stopped Starbucks when the pandemic happened. Before that, I was going daily. I don’t miss it and I’m saving money. Coffee at home is just fine. Besides, they got rid of my Skinny Cinnamon Dolce so there is really no reason for me to go there anyway,” along with, “Horrible coffee. Coffee Te Leaf and Bean, or something like that. Or get Trader Joe’s Organic Fair Trade, make it yourself and take with. Cheaper, better for the planet and your taste buds.”
