Nina and Sonny won’t last much longer. …Not everyone is built for the type of life Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) leads. Although society glorifies certain aspects to the mobster lifestyle, a dark truth surrounds even the most respected mobsters. That lifestyle promises power, money, and respect, and other superficial advantages. On the other hand, living a life of crime is sure to catch up with you someday. And even the most respected can end up dead.
The superficially rewarding business comes with risks. As a single person having no kids involved, the mob-life is less of a threat. However, instances where spouses and children come into play tend to get more complicated. And some of those risks are too much to justify.
As Port Charles’ reining mob King, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) found the perfect life partner. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is his rock. Although times got dark and difficult , Carly never gave up. Now that life has taken Sonny and Carly in different directions, Sonny doesn’t have the same type of support.
Sonny’s Out Of Nina’s League
According to General Hospital spoilers, for the first time, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sees Sonny’s other side. She thinks her version of him, or, ”Mike,” is the whole package. On the contrary, there’s so much more. That being said, one whiff of what’s ahead sends Ms. Reeves into a tailspin. At this point, Nina and Sonny’s relationship is doomed.
The latest General Hospital previews show Nina turning to a good friend Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) is back on the scene. GH Spoilers indicate that Nina opens up to Phyllis about her fears. Phyllis points out the obvious, but for Nina it’s a harsh reality. It’s tough being a mobsters leading lady. Does Nina have what it takes?
