Those over at General Hospital really know how to tug at the heart strings of their fans. If you are a true General Hospital fan, you’re probably feeling some sadness, disappointment, and an empty feeling while missing this staple in life. GH to it’s fans is not just a TV show. It isn’t just a Soap Opera, it is a way of life for some. To some, GH is an escape from reality, whatever it may be. It’s safe to say that we the fans are all missing our favorite Port Charles residents right about now as Covid-19 has stretched through the end of Winter, all throughout Spring, and now we’ll into Summer. Rest assured General Hospital will be back on ABC and we will all be there, glued to the TV upon it’s glorious return. General Hospital posted on its official Instagram page a heart warming, nostalgic, and hopeful message wrapped nicely in a short video montage. The video begins by reading, “This is why you hold your breath,” which in itself is emotionally moving, given the times we are in. Take a look at the video and caption below which states, “Thank God for General Hospital.” In the video, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) can be heard saying, “Thank God for General Hospital.” I don’t know about y’all, but this truly made my day!
This Summer, ABC launched a night time drama, Grand Hotel. Bryan Craig, along with co-stars Eva Longoria, and Roselyn Sanchez, to name a few, received some disappointing news regarding their career. Since the announcement of the cancellation of ABC’s Grand Hotel, rumors have been swirling around the idea of Morgan coming back from the dead.
Bryan Craig has been a hot topic lately in the ABC circuit. We all know and love him as son of mob boss, Sonny Corinthos, but more recently, his character, Javier Mendoza captured the interest of new viewers.
Morgan’s death took a toll on the city of Port Charles, and especially impacted the Corinthos clan. Sonny and Carly have been through the ringer when it comes to trials and tribulations surrounding family life, particularly their children. Most recently, although the birth of their new baby girl is a happy blessing, Sonny and Carly are still up against a difficult situation. Baby Donna has been diagnosed with Spina Bifida and will undergo major surgery.
The Corinthos family needs some light shed on all of the darkness that hangs over them like a storm cloud. Hoping that Donna’s surgery will be a success, there is also another thing to hope for.
General Hospital spoilers reveal ABC has cancelled Grand Hotel, which means Bryan Craig will be free to pursue work elsewhere. General Hospital rumors point directly to the obvious- a General Hospital return for Bryan Craig.
If Morgan Corinthos makes his way back to Port Charles, the Corinthos family will be whole again.
Would you like to see Bryan Craig reprise his role as Morgan Corinthos on GH?
Yes, it’s true! General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ingo Rademacher will be back on set of General Hospital as Jasper Jax for Fall Sweeps.
Recently, Jax returned to Port Charles to deal with the drama of finding Josslyn’s kidney daughter, which his ex-wife Carly was eager to get answers regarding their daughter’s health. Ever since finding out that Elizabeth Webber’s son Jake, wasn’t the donor, for obvious reasons, (he turned up alive), Carly has been perplexed as to who could have given the kidney that saved Josslyn’s life.
The last time Jax was in Port Charles, he seemed very anxious and uneasy around Carly and Nelle. He discouraged the entire act of digging into Josslyn’s kidney donor situation from the very beginning. But why? Does Jax know something about Nelle that Carly, Sonny, Joss, and the rest of us are in the dark about? Since Nelle was a match for Joss’ kidney, General Hospital rumors have suggested that Nelle has to be related to Joss in some way, and that perhaps she is Jax’s daughter.
There is much more to this story which will unfold this coming Fall Sweeps, when Ingo Rademacher returns as Jax.
Nelle has an agenda that fans just cannot put their finger on. GH rumors have teased that she wants to move in on Sonny and get Carly out of the picture. Nelle has everyone in Port Charles fooled when it comes to her true intentions for hanging around the Corinthos family. She’s always up in their business and at the same time, she plays it off like she doesn’t want to get involved. She has made some shady comments, suggesting that what’s in her mind doesn’t match the actions she plays out toward Carly, Sonny, and the rest of the family. She mentioned in a disgruntled tone that it wasn’t her choice to give her kidney to Josslyn. We know it wasn’t out of the goodness of Nelle’s heart that Josslyn got her kidney.
What does she want and who is she? Based on the fact that Nelle told Sonny the story about her best friend and the car accident that is eerily familiar to that of Carly’s story back form her youth, has led to GH rumors that Nelle wants to take Carly’s place, she wants to BE CARLY. Whatever it is, Nelle has something to hide and we have just begun to see through her shady ways.
Watch General Hospital during Fall Sweeps to see this story unfold.
The last couple weeks have been an emotional wreck for General Hospital’s leading family. The Corinthos clan was hit hard with news regarding Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Ever since Ava (Maura West) messed with his medication, Morgan’s bi-polar disorder has been spiraling out of control. Carly and Sonny can’t seem to figure out why all of a sudden Morgan had been acting as if his bi-polar was no longer under control, and even questioned whether or not he had stopped taking his meds. Morgan himself didn’t even know. He had thought he was taking the proper medication.
One thing led to another, which resulted in Morgan becoming manic, turned to alcohol after seeing what he thought was Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) in the boat house. Morgan became self destructive, and stole Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) car. Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) stepped in, called Morgan, and had successfully convinced him to stop driving, pull over, and talk. Little did they know, there was a bomb and as soon as Morgan set foot out of the car, it exploded.
There is NOT A BODY.
This is an age old soap opera story when a character “dies” and the family moves on as if they had died, however no body has been accounted for, in order to confirm the death. We all saw the car explode, but what no one saw, not even Jason Morgan, is there Morgan went. Could he have jumped before the blast got him? Was he injured by the explosion and cannot make it back? General Hospital rumors have indicated that perhaps Morgan is using this opportunity to fake his own death. He was running away from his problems, including his situation with PCU, Kiki, his parents, etc.
Sonny had a vision.
On Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, a grieving Sonny heard the voice of a young boy. He called out to that boy and said, “Morgan?” As Sonny looked up, he saw the little boy. The boy put his hand on Sonny’s shoulder and asked, “Why can’t you find me?!”
Rumors are flying that Bryan Craig will be recast, and Morgan Corinthos will turn up alive. General Hospital spoilers have not yet confirmed a recast for this role.
General Hospital Blog will keep fans updated on news of a recast.
GH Blog wants your input! Do you think the role of Morgan Corinthos will be recast?
Earlier this season, GH’s Bryan Craig confirmed he was leaving his role on General Hospital as Morgan Corinthos. It was stated that Bryan’s character would remain on the canvas until this coming November. However, after the events that occurred on today’s episode, fans are left confused with many questions. Fans want to know if Morgan has died, or if he will remain missing and/or hospitalized until November, when a possible recast would enter the canvas.
Morgan stole Julian’s car which had a bomb placed in it, for the intent of killing Julian Jerome. At this point, it looks as though Sonny himself planned to have Julian killed, but inadvertently killing his own son in the process. GH rumors speculate there will be some twists and turns to this story as Sonny and Carly deal with the fallout of being in the mob business.
Dante and the PCPD came to the scene, as did Sonny, to try and look for Morgan. Dante informed Sonny that they found remains to which could be Morgan’s. A DNA test is set to take place to determine if what they found are remains of Sonny and Carly’s son.
General Hospital rumors have been floating around, claiming that Morgan’s body will be burned beyond recognition, leaving room to recast the character. Other fans speculate that since Bryan Craig has left the role as Morgan Corinthos, his character will die.
Where do you think this story will go? Would you like to see Morgan Corinthos leave the show with his portrayer, or should Morgan be alive and recast?
General Hospital spoilers and news has already revealed that Bryan Craig has decided to end his run as General Hospital’s Morgan Corinthos, son of Sonny and Carly.
As the cast prepares to say goodbye to their colleague and friend, Laura Wright reaches out via Twitter to help fans prepare for what’s ahead.
The title of this post is actually a Tweet written by Laura Wright (Carly), regarding this week’s events that will have an undeniably horrific impact on the entire Corinthos family.
As S0nny and Carly enter into this family nightmare, their relationship and faith in God and one another will be put to the test. Carly warned Sonny that any action toward Julian Jerome would come back onto their family, and she was right. Michael is furious with his father for setting this in motion. How is Sonny going to handle the fallout? Can Carly stand by her man even after this? Will Michael, Kristina, and Dante lose all respect for their Dad?
Michael and Sabrina have been turning up the heat since this Summer, and it looks like things aren’t going to cool down for this couple, even as we coast into Fall.
Michael knows that Sabrina would be a great mother, since he hired her to be the nanny for his sister, baby Avery. Together, the two loved and cared for her during her time at the Quartermaine mansion. Since then, Michael has returned Avery to his Dad, Sonny, and since Sonny and Carly are engaged, Carly has been the active Mother figure for baby Avery.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors point to baby bliss of their own for Michael and Sabrina. It’s no secret that actress, Teresa Castillo is pregnant with her second child. After Castillo’s first pregnancy with daughter Victoria was written into the script, it was uncertain whether the writers would go down that road. During that time, Teresa’s character Sabrina was pregnant with Patrick Drake’s baby, but sadly, she lost the baby after being involved in a car accident that Victor Cassadine was behind- which tied into the entire Jason/Robin story line.
It looks as though Sabrina will end up pregnant and she and Michael will be happy to be expecting. Hopefully this time around Sabrina will be able to hold on to her pregnancy with no drama. What do you think? Are Michael and Sabrina ready to become parents together?
At this point there isn’t much that Sonny’s family can do. So the Corinthos clan just has to wait, hope, and pray, as the head of their family (pun intended) fights for his life.
GH recaps highlight Sonny and Carly’s wedding day drama. It was supposed to be a happy day full of love and family. Instead, Sonny was shot on the day he was supposed to marry his love, Carly. The two were preparing for their 5th wedding to one another. According to the recent GH recaps, Sonny risked his life to save TJ Ashford. Sonny promised his friend and enforcer, Shawn, that he would protect the boy and he did just that.
Morgan’s Revenge
General Hospital spoilers reveal that the aftermath of Sonny’s shooting will make a huge impact on the lives in Port Charles. First, Sonny’s youngest son Morgan faces whether or not he will be diagnosed with bipolar disorder, just like his dad. So far, signs are pointing to yes. Morgan is displaying some of the same characteristics that would lead to a bipolar diagnosis. After Sonny was shot, Morgan was beside himself with grief and anger. The thought of losing his dad has his mind spinning out of control… so much that he will go to extreme measures to get justice.
According to GH previews, Morgan is ready to end Julian’s life. He’s out for revenge and won’t let anyone deter him from getting justice for Sonny. Moreover, General Hospital spoilers indicate that Sonny’s incident will adversely affect many lives in Port Charles. As a result of the incident, the Jason Morgan reveal will begin to unravel. Sam, Maxie, and Ric, have already started to notice the similarities between Jake Doe and Jason Morgan right after the shooting on the pier.
Furthermore, GH rumors claim that Sonny’s story line has set the stage for November Sweeps. As previously reported, GH spoilers indicate the Jason Morgan reveal takes place during that time.
To find out more about how and when Jason will be revealed, keep watching General Hospital every day for the exciting outcome!
Things are heating up all around Port Charles. As Sonny (Maurice Benard) tries to hang on for dear life, Carly (Laura Wright) clings on to hope and turns to prayer, Michael (Chad Duell) lives up to the Corinthos name and steps up to the plate, Morgan (Bryan Craig) turns to rage and wants revenge, and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is ready to come clean to Jake (Billy Miller).
The secret she is keeping is weighing on Liz’s conscience, and she can’t handle the guilt she feels from keeping Jake from knowing his true identity- and from keeping Jason Morgan from his wife, Sam (Kelly Monaco), and their son, Danny.
At this point, Elizabeth is ready to tell Jake the truth, that she has been lying to him for months, and that he is actually Jason Morgan. However, now she is stuck between a rock in a hard place. While almost giving into her guilt and telling Jason the truth, she has a heavy heart because her son Jake, whom was presumed dead, has finally returned to her, and he needs a father in his life.
It looks as though Liz wants to tell Jason the truth, but she also wants what is best for her son. Will Elizabeth put her selfish reasons aside and tell Jake he is actually Jason Morgan? General Hospital rumors claim that is not how this story will play out. General Hospital spoilers have revealed that Laura (Genie Francis) will be returning to Port Charles very soon and that she will play a large role in the Jason Morgan reveal.
Let us know what you think. Will little Jake hold Elizabeth back from coming clean about Jason Morgan?
Just as Sonny and Carly thought they would be spending the rest of their life together, the unthinkable happened on the day of their 5th wedding. Sonny was shot while Carly waited patiently for her groom to be to show up to their home. Jake was the bearer of bad news, as he arrived at Sonny’s to tell Carly what had happened .
Today the Corinthos family will experience a highly emotional time as they brace for what is in store for Sonny. At this point they don’t know if he will make it out alive, and if he does live, he faces the possibility of paralysis.
ABC TV Network Manager, Nathan Varni, warns fans that today’s episode of General Hospital will be “unforgettable” and “highly emotional.” You don’t want to miss it!!!
