Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) isn’t the only friend Sonny has lost recently. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has decided to turn against Sonny. After all, she does work for the PCPD. Moreover, Sonny’s state of mind takes its toll. Someone is messing with his meds which affects his daily decisions. All of these things combined create a perfect storm for a breakdown. Who will be there to help Sonny out of his dark space?
For most of his life Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) repelled God. His sins eventually became his identity and was only known for the evil he’s done. Then, events in recent years drudged up another version of himself.
Cyrus Renault came to Port Charles to connect with his long lost sister, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis). He equivocated the importance of family as his every action continued to adversely impact those around him. Even his newfound family. GH recaps recall that it was Cyrus’s order for Julian Jerome to place a bomb at the Floating Rib. The intended target was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), but intentions don’t always come to fruition. Instead, inadvertent, or collateral damage occurred as a result of the missed target. While Jason Morgan might be alive. Lulu Spencer’s life hangs by a thread. And it’s all because of Cyrus.
Family Or Foe, One Should Never Trust Cyrus Renault.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Laura supports Cyrus and turns her back on her friend Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Laura’s pacifistic values have kept her conflicted about Sonny for years. She knows that there’s more to the Port Charles coffee importer, but their friendship kept Laura loyal until now.

Laura Spencer Collin’s (Genie Francis) is a wife, mother, sister, friend, and the Mayor of Port Charles. That’s a lot to have on one person’s plate. On top of all of that, her family is full of drama.
Let’s start with the obvious drama source, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Since his Port Charles arrival and confession to Laura, he’s been nothing but trouble for the Mother Mayor. I like that. That’s what I’m calling Laura from now on. Mother Mayor. But seriously, Cyrus revealed that he was Laura’s brother and her life hasn’t been the same since.
General Hospital recaps recall that Laura’s worries about Cyrus lead her to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She questioned him about Cyrus’s potential involvement in Austin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder. That’s when Sonny informed her that he doesn’t think Cyrus killed Austin. Laura hates the thought of her brother having killed Dr. Holt. So she’s a bit relieved after Sonny’s insight.
Meanwhile, Cyrus is the least of Laura’s worries. Austin’s real killer isn’t there and GH rumors hint that he’s closer to Laura than her brother Cyrus. Apparently, Nikolas Cassadine frames his ex-wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West) in Dr. Austin Holt’s murder. Recent GH rumors and spoilers hint that Laura learns Nikolas killed Austin! It’s not her brother that’s a killer, it’s her son!
Sonny and Cyrus join forces! Family first; that’s the name of the game among the bad boys in Port Charles. Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober), Victor Cassadine, and even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) hide behind family.
General Hospital spoilers reveal there is a threat looming in the shadows over Port Charles, and that threat is Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Victor’s sinister plot compromises anyone who stands in the way of his endgame. His plan is to acquire power in numbers by by manipulating his family into rallying together.

Sonny and Spencer’s grandmother Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) are life long friends who have had each other’s backs for years. Spencer connects Sonny and Laura with family ties, strengthening their loyalty to one another. Despite Cyrus Renault’s past, his newfound faith has him vigilantly protecting his family. His sister Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) doesn’t trust that Cyrus truly changed, however, GH rumors hint he will soon earn her trust.
Uncles at War! Sonny and Cyrus join forces against Victor
General Hospital rumors suggest Victor becomes a big enough threat to drive two unlikely allies to the same side. GH spoilers claim Sonny and Cyrus join forces to combat Victor in an upcoming mob war disaster. Victor wants power and control but too many key players are onto him. He may believe he stands a chance but with Spencer’s other uncles working together, Victor doesn’t stand a chance.
