Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has spoken! His wife Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) wants nothing more than to get inside Sonny’s head and find out if he’s about to throw away their entire relationship. She knows what she did was wrong but she defends herself.

Evidently, Nina is master at backhanded apologies. Meaning, she’ll apologize in one breath, and by the next she’s defending her actions. Usually, the defense includes direct finger pointing at another party. It’s weird because it sounds like she takes accountability for at least half, but then she spouts out why everyone else made her do it. It’s interesting to say the least.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Nina and Sonny remain at odds after he learned of her betrayal. He doesn’t take deception lightly, and Ava Jerome knows it. To be fair, everyone knows it. But for some reason Nina believes that she’s the exception to Sonny’s standards. The new Mrs. Carinos hurt so many in the name of revenge. Her twisted vendetta against Carly, the former Mrs. Corinthos (Laura Wright) has lead Nina to where she is today.

Over the last few years Nina and Sonny have lived blissfully in their delusions. Sonny, he’s delusional about Nina’s true colors. And she’s oblivious to the fact that she’s not cut out for his life. Nina has lived in her delusion that Sonny will keep “Mike” at his core. But in reality, he’s Sonny through and through. They just aren’t a good fit, it’s as simple a that. When Carly and their kids thought Sonny was dead, they mourned his posts for about a year.
