Sonny Corinthos Then and Now
Sonny Corinthos has been a key character on General Hospital since 1993, played by Maurice Benard. A powerful mob boss in Port Charles, he balances ruthless business tactics with fierce loyalty to his loved ones. He has faced many challenges, including bipolar disorder, turbulent romances, and deadly rivalries. Despite his criminal ties, he remains devoted to family and friends. His complex nature makes him a fan favorite. Co-star Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos, calls him “the mobster with a heart of gold,” capturing his mix of toughness and compassion.
Cody and Dante clash! …Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and his childhood friend Cody Bell seem to have picked up where they left off all those years ago. Despite the fact that they’ve both grown and changed, the core of their friendship remains the same.
Today, Dante is a respectable Law Officer while Cody here is a known scammer. But that doesn’t mean it’s always been this way. According to GH recaps, Dante’s past was a little shady as well. As years went by and they moved apart, Dante found his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Port Charles.
Fast forward to last Spring, and Cody followed in Dante’s footsteps. He landed in Port Charles with a story about how he too has a father from Port Charles. However, the story he tells is much different from. The truth. And now that Dante knows Cody’s secret, he isn’t happy with his friend’s choices. According to recent GH spoilers, childhood besties are at odds. Cody and Dante clash over Cody’s over Cody’s adult choices. He knows that Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) isn’t Cody’s father, and that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) holds that title. As Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) pressures Cody to sign on the dotted line, Dante pressures him to make the right choice.
As Cody and Mac grow closer, maybe Dante’s words will resonate with the former grifter. Can you make an honest man out of himself by righting his wrongs from his past.

GH spoilers and rumors tease that tragedy strikes when there’s a shooting at the Metro Court. Unfortunately, someone is badly injured and their life hangs in the balance. Moreover, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is horrified, and Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) makes an arrest. Will he piece together the latest clues and find Nina as the result? Willow lets Nina in! …It sure looks like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) very well might get everything she wants. It’s like the universe is suffering from a major malfunction.
Indeed, karma is meant to be signify a person’s actions in life that influences what happens to them in current and future lives. Additionally, karma is viewed as the cause and effect of morality. Based on all the good fortune and blessings that have bestowed upon Nina, karma doesn’t seem to understand the assignment.
However, General Hospital spoilers reveal that karma just needs time to do its thing with Nina. There’s no way this woman gets away with all that she’s done, and all of the people she’s harmed along the way. Inevitably, Nina’s actions will come back around to bite her once karma catches up with her. Her lies and despicable actions are about to unravel as everyone learns the truth. Once everyone knows that Nina was getting the book thrown at Drew, he was our saving her daughter’s life. As they say, no deed goes unpunished, and now he pays the price.
According to GH spoilers and previews, Nina gets a taste of her own mortality when adverse effects hit at every angle. After all is said and done, Nina takes the biggest L of them all. Ironically, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) lets Nina in just to push her out again. Evidently, Nina’s a spiteful actions have their consequences and now she’s been hit with karma.

However, Gladys risks landing on Sonny Corinthos’s list of red-underlined names.

Check out the latest on Nicholas Chavez’s GH exit!
…Over the last few years the younger generation has had a stronger presence in Port Charles. Today’s teens get some major airplay, reminiscent of the teen group back in the 1990s. Back then their stories were front and center, and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher), and Emily Quartermaine (Natalia Livingston) were the teens on the s end. Similarly, the teen’s lives are filled with drama, they fall in love over and over, and not everyone sticks around.
It’s true what they say, that nothing lasts forever. But does it have to end so soon for Spencer and Trina? General Hospital news and spoilers reports share the latest on who’s in and who’s out in Port Charles. Finally, the young couple found their way to each other. Despite the roadblocks tossed at them like a crazy game of Mario Kart, Trina and Spencer were able to move past what tripped them up and get back on track. GH spoilers tease that even after all they’ve been through, these two hit some more relationship trouble. Suddenly, issues with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) surface, which poses another threat to their future together.
Nicholas Chavez’s GH Exit
According to recent GH news reports, Nicholas Alexander Chavez is headed to Netflix. When News broke that the Emmy winner, Chavez, was cast as in Season 2 of the Netflix series,“Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” of course, fans immediately began wondering if Chavez would lead Spencer off-screen. Unfortunately, GH spoilers reveal that Chavez steps away from GH while he’s on set as “Lyle Menéndez.” The good news is that his GH departure is temporary and he’ll be back to reprise his role as Spencer Cassadine.
Is Luke Spencer alive? …Luke Spencer’s (Tony Geary) sudden death shocked General Hospital fans, as well as Port Charles residents. Additionally, the actors who have worked alongside Tony for decades couldn’t believe that the writers would go there. For the time being, Luke is confirmed dead. However, maybe that’s not the whole truth.
Previously, GH icons Genie Francis and the late Jackie Zeman weighed in on the controversy. This particular storyline became controversial when the General Hospital writers received backlash from both fans and co-stars. Due to the storyline’s main focus, not many took well to an offscreen soap character killing. Like, how do GH writers kill a legend like Lucas Lorenzo Spencer? Let alone in the meaningless why his death was scripted. To read more about what Tony Geary’s co-stars have to say about Luke’s alleged death, CLICK HERE.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Luke lures Laura with Nikolas Cassadine. Is it a warning? Tracy has been extra ruthless since this most recent return. Perhaps her behavior has something to do with whatever she’s wrapped up in. Regardless, she’s hiding something and someone. But who?
Let us know what you think about this possible twist! Vote on the GH Poll below!
…No one wants to believe that Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) is dead. Fans and co-stars alike have a hard time understanding why General Hospital writers would kill off such a legend. Especially in such a trivial way. A cable car accident is hardly the way for Legendary Lucas Lorenzo Spencer to go out.
Meanwhile, it’s one thing after another in Port Charles. The city’s good people can never rest for more than what seems like five minutes. Still, for the most part, they go about their lives as usual. A regular day in the lives of the PCPD isn’t your average day of police work. Instead, it’s like a constant reminder that some criminals are simply untouchable. And often times, even the citizens participate in an investigation alongside the PCPD.
General Hospital spoilers reveal latest mystery villain since the hook killer. The Pikeman organization has been floating around Port Charles, seeping into the cracks. From Sonny Corinthos to the Spencers, and Cassadines, to the Quartermaine family, Pikeman has infiltrated into the most influential families in PC. According to GH spoilers and rumors, Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) involvement in some deep rooted scheme also includes a mystery partner. Based on past GH news reports regarding Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) many believe that Luke isn’t dead. That being said, General Hospital rumors hint that Tracy’s mysterious partner, aka Pikeman, is none other than her husband, Luke Spencer. But why would Luke go after Sonny? Unless Tracy flipped on Luke, and she’s partnered up with a mysterious baddie? So, where does Luke come in? If Luke is alive, it’s possible that he’s using Nikolas to send a message to Laura. A warning perhaps?
GH spoilers and rumors suggest that Luke lures Laura with Nikolas. What better way to draw Laura in than to use her son, a Cassadine, for bait?
Is Martin Gray marriage material? …Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) aren’t shy about their affections. They have no issue flaunting their mutual attraction for each other in public. Because of their outwardly flirty nature Martin and Lucy give “that couple” vibes. You know, THAT seemingly perfect pair who are all over each other. People can’t help but assume they just be all about each other as well.
General Hospital recaps give a brief overview of recent Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) scenes. Over at the Metro Court, Martin and Lucy sit down with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as she and Lucy discuss Deception. That’s when the conversation takes a subtle turn, and their playful banter shifted gears. Unexpectedly, Martin shot down Lucy’s praises for his hand in the cosmetic industry icon’s new project launch. Despite Lucy’s acknowledgment, Marty wouldn’t accept any credit for planting the seed for The Deceptor’s development.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Lucy will dig a bit deeper into what’s going on with Martin. His slightly suspicious behavior raises red flags and Lucy wants to know what she’s up against. After their conversation about marriage, Lucy is left flustered and disappointed. But mostly, she’s very curious. So, what is going on with Marty? It’s high time Lucy finds out, so she reaches out to Felicia (Kristina Wagner) for help. GH spoilers tease that Lucy wants Felicia to follow Marty around. Lately, Martin’s texts have been blowing up from his ex. What does she want? Whatever it is can’t be good, otherwise Martin wouldn’t have become so flustered. What’s Martin hiding and how will this effect their future together?

Tracy’s working with Mason! …Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) came to Port Charles already having ties to the Quartermaine family. His father, Jimmy Lee Holt, was the illegitimate son of Edward Quartermaine. Thus connecting Austin to the rest of the chaotic Quartermaine clan.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Austin’s ties to the Quartermaine family is the backbone to everything that has developed over some months. From Pikeman and Sonny, to Carly and Drew’s run in with the SEC, GH rumors claim that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is behind it all.
According to this week’s GH recaps, Tracy is partnered up with a mystery person. She made it very clear that she and this person are on an equal playing field. To clarify, Tracy declared the person on the other end of the phone was NOT her boss, but her equal. So, that lead to newly developing GH rumors. Now GH rumors suggest that Tracy’s working with Mason, but not as an equal. His connection to Austin makes him the perfect mobster to handle Quartermaine affairs. If rumors are true, Tracy is behind everything. All in the name of ELQ.
This Summer, things are heating up in the Port Charles streets! And it’s all just getting started!
