Sonny Corinthos has been a key character on General Hospital since 1993, played by Maurice Benard. A powerful mob boss in Port Charles, he balances ruthless business tactics with fierce loyalty to his loved ones. He has faced many challenges, including bipolar disorder, turbulent romances, and deadly rivalries. Despite his criminal ties, he remains devoted to family and friends. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was deceived. She fell for John Jagger Cates’s story when he first came to Port Charles. But little did she know that John was actually Agent John Jagger Cates, a sore spot from Sonny’s past.

But first, he found out that Nina betrayed him and his family when she turned Carly and Drew into the SEC. That’s when he decided that Nina could no longer be trusted. Finally, not until later on did Sonny confide in Ava while pushing Carly and Jason away.
As Taylor Swift says, “I wounded the good and I trusted the wicked.” That’s exactly what happened when Sonny told Ava that she’s the only person he can trust, while tearing down Carly and Jason. Mistakenly, Sonny leaned on and confided in a former mobster. But you know what they say, once a mobster, always a mobster. Just kidding, I don’t know if anyone really says that. But seriously, GH has taught me that it’s pretty hard to leave the business.
Carly And Nina Team Up
First of all, Ava dated Sonny’s son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). That alone should be reason enough to keep his distance. Instead, Sonny ended up sleeping with his son’s ex! Then, Sonny blows off the fact that Ava killed Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan), AND had a hand in his son Morgan’s death! How can he blow that off? Still, he got close to her in recent times despite her heinous deeds.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that a big time return is in the works. According to X, Bryan Craig replied to a post by ABC Soaps In Depth, implying that he will return to GH as Morgan Corinthos. Morgan died in a car bomb that was meant for Julian Jerome (William deVry) in 2018.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned to Port Charles in March after having been presumed dead. His family suffered their loss and grieved for him yet another time. Some relationships have even been strained because of it. Sonny is outraged and Sam wasn’t sold at first. But despite all of the heartache, Jason and his mother remain close. There’s no doubt that Monica adores Jason, and he respects and loves his mama.

So it is respect for Monica, Jason agreed to represent his mother at the wedding.

Many years later Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up in Port Charles. He was an undercover cop, and Sonny didn’t know he had a so. Suddenly, one thing led to another and Sonny shot Dante! Mr. Corinthos had almost killed his own son and didn’t even know it.

General Hospital rumors tease that history repeats itself. Back when Dante was was undercover, Sonny knew nothing of their relationship. Tragically, he pulled the trigger and shot his own son!

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his daughter Kristina (Kate Mansi) have a strong and secure relationship. They support each other and fully trust that each has the other’s best interest at heart. Even when Christina came out sunny, supported his daughter for who she is. that’s more than we can say for Natalia. Despite her close minded outlook, it’s possible that Blaze’s mom isn’t a lost cause. In fact, Sonny’s influence on her may have quite an impact.

According to the latest GH rumors, Natalia becomes Sonny’s plus one to Chase and Brook Lynn’s wedding. Ava Jerome tried to weasel her way into Sonny’s orbit, and for a while it was working. But she recently faced a harsh reality when Sonny made her place in his life crystal clear.
No one is really sure what Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been up to. What we know so far is that she thought she had Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) right where she wants him. Until now, it looked as if Sonny was going to fall for Ava.
Then, something unexpected happened and changed the course of their new relationship. In swept Natalia right when Sonny needed an intervention the most. Although unintentional, Natalia’s presence serves as a barrier between Ava, Sonny, and her covertly nefarious intentions.
