Sonny Corinthos Then and Now
Sonny Corinthos has been a key character on General Hospital since 1993, played by Maurice Benard. A powerful mob boss in Port Charles, he balances ruthless business tactics with fierce loyalty to his loved ones. He has faced many challenges, including bipolar disorder, turbulent romances, and deadly rivalries. Despite his criminal ties, he remains devoted to family and friends. His complex nature makes him a fan favorite. Co-star Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos, calls him “the mobster with a heart of gold,” capturing his mix of toughness and compassion.
Esme wants Nikolas gone. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is sick and tired of unknowing, self-serving people declaring what is best for her and baby Ace. As if Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) wasn’t bad enough, having the alleged father of her baby around wills make things worse.
No matter how hard she tries, she can’t seem to convince Spencer that she is worthy mother. Ace is Esme’s number one priority. Despite her past, the new mom displays responsible, loving, and logical behavior toward and regarding her newborn son. Even still, Spencer and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) plot to take the child from his own mother.
Esme Wants Nikolas Gone
Thankfully, Esme has one less Cassadine to worry about. In the latest General Hospital previews, Esme is heard insinuating that she wants him to stay gone. GH rumors claim that “him” is in reference to Nikolas Cassadine. It’s true, she could also be referring to Spencer. He’s off to his meeting with Uncle Vic and has finally left her side. No matter how you slice it, one less Cassadine is one less problem for this new mom. Esme’s going the best she can given the circumstances. It’s bad enough that she doesn’t know who she can trust. So, adding another Cassadine to stake their claim is just another added obstacle.
How long will Esme have to fight off Spencer and Victor? And when will Nikolas him into the equation?
Carly and Nina find Willow unconscious. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are nothing alike but have many things in common. Aside from both loving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), both women have mutual grandchildren. As enemies, Carly and Nina never see eye to eye.
General Hospital recaps recall that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is just a day away from her bone marrow transplant. Thankfully, Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was approved and deemed safe to proceed with the surgery. Willow has been resting, leading up to the procedure. To honor her friend Epiphany, Willow was escorted by Carly to the memorial. At that point, Willow seems to be in good spirits.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Willow takes it easy after attending Epiphany Johnson’s (Sonya Eddy) memorial. In the latest General Hospital previews, Carly and Nina find Willow unconscious. Carly screams, “What the Hell happened?” at Nina. It seems like Carly may have left Willow in Nina’s care for a short period of time. To then find Willow passed out just before her transplant.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Willow’s current medical state brings Carly and Nina together. Carly springs into action while Nina looks frozen and unable to gather her thoughts. However, Nina and Carly end up working together to get Willow the help she needs.
Is Cameron Webber leaving for good? One of General Hospital’s youngest stars plays front and center. William Lipton, also known as Cameron Webber, joined General Hospital back in 2018. It was then that he signed on as a contract role. At that point, Cameron (and William) was here to stay.
Over the years, Cameron and his friends, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and even Emma Drake (Brooklyn Silzer), created the teen scene. Although Emma Drake left before the main focus on the teen drama, her recent return brings about new General Hospital rumors. In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Lipton confirmed that he will rejoin the cast in the Summer. He and his character will attend school off-set and off-screen, and rejoin the cast come Summer.

Can Holly save Esme from Victor? Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is out for what he believes is his. As the self-proclaimed leader of the Cassadine family, Victor makes it his mission to herd family members like sheep. Total control is his end game. However, in order for Uncle Victor to satisfy his desire, he must get through Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
According to recent General Hospital recaps, Victor expresses his desire to take baby Ace. As the mother of the youngest Cassadine heir, Esme fears Uncle Victor’s very presence. Furthermore, she has trust issues with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Together, Victor and Spencer pose a serious threat to Esme and baby Ace. That being said, the controlling Cassadine must be stopped.

It’s safe to say that a Laura is one of the good ones. Having helped Holly, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), and Mac (John J. York) and Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) in the past, she’ll help them take down Victor this time around too. GH news reports confirm that Emma Samms returns to General Hospital as Holly Sutton. According to GH rumors, Holly returns just in time to help the crew bring Victor down for good. Can Holly save as Esme from Victor before he takes baby Ace?
Chase gives Brook Lynn a second chance. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) hasn’t been herself lately. After her breakup with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Brook Lynn doesn’t have her same spark. We aren’t saying that she isn’t a bright light on her own, we just mean we see a bit of sadness in her overall aura ever since she lost her true love.
General Hospital recaps recall Chase had the last of Brook Lynn’s antics. Before they got together, Chase was hesitant to pursue anything more than friendship due to her tendency to lie and scheme. Until one day, a particular scheme caught Harrison Chase’s interest.
Although Brook Lynn was caught up in more illicit role play drama, this time there was much more to it than your average Brook Lynn classics. Surprisingly, Chase eventually saw past the lies and discovered a completely unselfish reason behind the scheme. Because of this, Chase actually fell in love with Brook Lynn. What Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) did to protect her baby from Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is what any mother desperate to keep her child safe would do. That being said, Brook Lynn couldn’t let Maxie fight the good fight alone. Therefore, Brook Lynn agreed to pass off Maxie’s baby as her own.
Finally, Chase was enamored with Brook Lynn’s sacrifice to help Maxie raise her baby in such a way. Chase saw Brook Lynn in a different light when he realized how strong she really is. She knew that she would have to eventually give up baby Louise but went through with it anyway. Ironically, the strength Brook Lynn displayed in a scheme is what led her and Chase down lover’s lane.
Chase Gives Brook Lynn A Second Chance
General Hospital recaps recall Brook Lynn’s short lived selflessness. Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers reveal, shortly after one scheme made them fall in love, another was the one that tore them apart.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Brook Lynn and Chase are still not over one another. Chase had all he could take in regard to Brook Lynn’s antics. After selfishly sabotaging his job, Chase couldn’t look at her the same. BLQ did everything in her power to ensure Chase’s career as a pop star. In doing so, she shut the door on his opportunity to return to the PCPD.
Fast forward and GH spoilers and previews indicate that Chase gives Brooklyn a second chance. After talking with Willow, Chase is inspired to let love lead. After all, life is short.
Josslyn, Michael, and Dex EXPOSED! Intense drama rocks Port Charles! It’s coming down to the wire for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The threat is real and out of his hands. Aside from the obvious enemy, Sonny is about to face a war within his own organization.

In one of the biggest revelations in recent times, Josslyn, Michael, and Dex are all intertwined in some type of triangular exposure. With Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) hiding the least, the three of them all hide something from another. First, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is hiding his relationship with Joss from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Also, he’s hiding his business partnership with Michael from Josslyn. Additionally, Michael. He’s hiding his business partnership with that from his sister, intern his sister is hiding her relationship with Michael business partner from Michael himself.
According to General Hospital rumors and spoilers, Dex gets the most heat. He’s lying to both Michael and Joss. Although Dex told Josslyn he was working as an informant against Sonny, he did not tell Joss he was working for her brother. As for Michael and Dex, their secrets and lies cause a war of their own.
In recent General Hospital previews, Josslyn hears Michael looking for Dex when he shows up at the door. Indisposed and in shock, Josslyn immediately wonders what her brother wants with Dex. What happened next when Josslyn, Michael, and Dex all come face to face with their secrets?!

Because of their family history as enemies, Laura and Valentin Cassadine’s alliance goes against the norm. trusting a Cassadines isn’t something Laura is used. However, it isn’t just Laura and the Spencers looking over their shoulder.
General Hospital recaps recall the early stages of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) encounters. First, these two were enemies. Then over time, Anna warmed up to Valentin. He confessed his affections over and over throughout the years but Anna wasn’t having it. Finally, they began a love/hate type of connection, often referred to as “frenemies.” Finally, Valentin and Anna fell in love.

Nina can’t let Carly win! Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) opened up to her dear friend, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) about her relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). In a therapy-like setting, Phyllis helped break down Nina’s walls. It was then that she confessed her true feelings.
What round is this?! Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves go round after round in their ongoing life battle. General Hospital recaps revisit all the reasons these two women are enemies. To begin with, a young woman who turned out to be Nina’s biological daughter got her thrill from torturing Carly’s family. Specifically, her son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) relationship with Michael was extremely toxic. Her extensive list of criminal behavior includes but isn’t limited to seduction, attempted murder, and kidnapping. Ultimately, Nelle went full-on psycho mode, threatening the lives of Carly’s loved ones.
General Hospital recaps remind fans of Nina’s hatred for Carly. After Nelle’s death, Nina blamed Carly for the unfortunate incident and for keeping her daughter a secret. She grieved for her late daughter by lashing out at Carly.
The thought of revenge became music to Nina’s ears. Ironically, Sonny’s presumed death gave her the perfect song. Nina used the opportunity to get revenge on Carly. One thing lead to another and Nina found herself in love with a married man. However, he wasn’t just any married man. Nina fell in love with a victim. Sonny Corinthos suffered from amnesia when Nina took advantage of him and the situation. Kept from his wife and kids, Sonny didn’t have the opportunity to get in touch with his true self. And from then on, “Mike” became part of Sonny.
Nina Can’t Let Carly Win!
Since stealing Carly’s husband, Nina also took Carly’s career right from under her. Now, the Metro Court belongs in part to Nina. Based on Nina’s track record, it’s difficult not to think she’s out to take over her arch enemy’s life! That being said, General Hospital rumors and spoilers indicate that Nina continues to insert herself into Carly’s identity.
Previously, General Hospital Blog reported that Nina had an epiphany. Through her talk with Phyllis Caulfield Nina sorted out her feelings. She discovered that although she loves Sonny, love isn’t enough to deal with the dangers of his business. The risk to her newfound daughter and grandchildren is too great to carry on with Sonny. As a result of her newfound feelings, GH rumors suspect Nina wants to throw in the towel. However, that means she’d give up Sonny. In turn, giving up Sonny means throwing him right into Carly’s arms.
