Sonny made sure he told Carly to stay out in Jacksonville while the psycho who is trying to harm those closet to has their way with whomever they choose on the streets of PC. He thinks it’s best that Carly stay out of the commotion in fear of her becoming the next victim.
Nina Reeves is staying close and remains in Port Charles despite the risk to her safety. Nina thought she knew what she was getting into when she decided to go forward in a relationship with the mob boss, but was she ever prepared for this? Not only is she subject to a psycho who wants to get those close to Sonny, but she doesn’t seem close enough to him to receive the same type of protection as his ex wife, Carly!
There seems to be a pattern that has remained consistent with the victims chosen by the over confident hook killer.

The authorities and public figures in Port Charles have put their heads together to come up with clues that steer them toward the right suspect. But it doesn’t take a genius to see that all the victims have one thing in common… Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Sonny as gone through most of his adult life knowing that anyone he gets close to becomes a target. He has taken extreme measures to protect the ones who loves, even going as far as calling things off and even closing the door on those most important to him. Sometimes all the precautionary measures in the world can’t alleviate the threat and ultimate danger Sonny’s business brings.
