Sonny Corinthos has been a key character on General Hospital since 1993, played by Maurice Benard. A powerful mob boss in Port Charles, he balances ruthless business tactics with fierce loyalty to his loved ones. He has faced many challenges, including bipolar disorder, turbulent romances, and deadly rivalries. Despite his criminal ties, he remains devoted to family and friends. His complex nature makes him a fan favorite. Co-star Laura Wright, who plays Carly Corinthos, calls him “the mobster with a heart of gold,” capturing his mix of toughness and compassion.
General Hospital star Maurice Benard has reached out to fans to inform his audience that there will not be a new dispose of his YouTube series, State if Mind, this coming Sunday as per usual.
General Hospital news reports confirm Benard has issued a statement regarding a recent change in this mental health based talk show.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Maurice will be hosting a YouTube Live event on Sunday, April 24th between 10:30-11AM PST. During this live event, Benard will explain how State of Mind will look differently going forward. He goes in to thank his wife, Paula, among others for their support and contributions.

It’s been a long time coming and General Hospital Blog shared GH spoilers related to Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) seduction of her boyfriend Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) father, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
On March 9, GH Blog shared an article with a generalized potential scenario surrounding Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) plan to use his daughter to come between Nikolas and Ava Jerome (Maura West). The plan seemed obvious- Ryan wants Esme to do whatever it takes to break up Nik and Ava. Although she wasn’t able to accomplish the task while Spencer was away, she has managed to manipulate her way into his fathers home in the name of needing “protection” from Uncle Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
General Hospital rumors hint that Esme will soon manipulate her way into Nikolas’s bed. But things aren’t always as they seem. Recent GH spoilers and rumors bring up new possibilities. Esme and Nik’s scene from Wednesday, April 20th gives off vibes that maybe Nikolas isn’t about to fall into her trap. Recent General Hospital spoilers claim Nikolas could be the one seducing Esme; but just to the point where he then has enough on her to prove she is guilty. It’s possible Nik is working with his son in an attempt to help vindicate Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and place blame where it belongs- straight to Esme.
The dust has barely settled after Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) experienced some of the worst trauma of her life.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) did a number on Maxie and the ones she loves, leaving her tired and warn, her relieved and grateful. Carly has been around long enough to know how Sonny’s actions effect the business and in-turn, the danger and risk it brings to their family.

General Hospital spoilers hint that Trina and Spencer won’t see eye to eye and Trina will feel betrayed by the person she stood by even when he didn’t deserve it.
General Hospital previews indicate that Trina and Spencer discuss her alibi. After learning that she told her lawyer Spencer was her alibi, his reaction cuts deep as Trina feels as though one of her best friends has turned on her while believing a known liar and criminal.
Everyone else seems to know Trina as a human being and understands she would never do something like this- especially to her besties Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Spencer and his father Nikolas seem to be two of the very few who are biting into Esme’s BS- with Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) coming in as a close third.
The walls are closing in on Esme despite the fact that Trina doesn’t have the support of Spencer. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are going up to bat for Trina while trying to prove Esme’s guilt. If Esme thought Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was scary, wait until she really gets it from Carly!
