Obesssion might be the proper word to describe Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) interest in Carly Corinthos Spencer’s (Laura Wright) life. Her behavior as of late isn’t the only indicator that Nina Reeves is a few cards short of a deck.

Prior to Carly, Nina committed some unthinkable crimes, just to eventually become besties and even the wife of her victims. Why? The world may never know. But Nina definitely stole Sonny and Ava’s daughter Avery- out of Ava’s womb. And now she’s best friends with Ava and married to Sonny. Well, I guess that’s how they roll in Port Charles.

It all began when Nina lost her long lost daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). She had searched for her child for years, just to learn that she was right under her nose. Furthermore, when she finally learned her daughter’s identity it was too late. Nelle was a psychopath and died because of her own actions. Still, rage rose up working Nina and sparked a certain vengeance in her soul. Of course, we all know that the finger was pointed right to Carly. As GH recaps highlight, Nina has married Carly’s husband and stolen her hotel. Also, she tipped off the SEC and sent Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to Pentonville.

Could the ongoing feud between Nina and Carly simply fizzle to an end? Well, maybe. However, it seems that would only be likely if Nina had someone else’s life to focus on. But not everything revolved around his mob boss. He made connections, established friendships, and even fell in love. Dex and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) fell fast for each other in a forbidden romance type of way.

According to recent General Hospital news reports, ABC President Craig Erwich discussed the future of General Hospital. Reportedly, Soap Hub had a personal chat with ABC Executive Craig Erwich regarding General Hospital.

We are ecstatic to share that Erwich spoke highly of the iconic drama series. “GH is absolutely a tremendous pride for us,” Erwich told the outlet. “The show’s been on for 60 years. That is a remarkable achievement. And the great thing about GENERAL HOSPITAL is that it’s on daily. It’s an opportunity for us to delight, entertain, and surprise people on a daily basis. The joy is to have an audience who has watched the show for 60 years; they’re now watching with their kids and grandkids.”

From the sound of things, General Hospital’s future looks bright. I bet there’s at least another 60 years to come…

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is a good-hearted (potential) killer. I use potential because I can’t recall if Dex has actually killed anyone yet. It would seem that the descriptions good-hearted and killer is an oxymoron. Dex Heller is willing to kill if need be. on the other hand, he’d also put his own life on the line for the ones he love, and those to whom he’s most loyal.

Doesn’t this sound like someone else we know? Dex Heller is loyal to the core. He endures Sonny’s torture and won’t snitch a peep. Sonny wants to know who decks is protecting not physically, but who he’s protecting with his word. The answer is Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Who do you know that is loyal to Carly above anyone else? Yes, you got that right. It’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Jason Morgan was loyal to Carly above all else. Most times even Sonny came second to Jason’s BFF unless it was about his business.

Clearly, Nina’s motives were strictly vindictive. On the contrary, others in Port Charles use deception in the name of protection. But that still doesn’t excuse the lie. It’s a whole complicated web of actions and intentions, and the Corinthos family is in the thick of it.

According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sonny gets another blow while he’s still processing having been betrayed by his wife. Ninas lies harbored those of others that came before hers. That leads us to Michael’s devious plan to destroy his own father. Dex’s presence in Port Charles only takes place because Michael hired him to take down Sonny. Eventually, Sonny’s disgruntled son came to his senses and called off the job. That’s when Carly and Michael decided to keep Dex on payroll for another reason. Now, he was to protect Sonny.
