General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Prepares To Come Clean To Carly

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been making decisions on his own lately due to the absence of his best friend and confidant, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). It seems that Sonny h keeps finding himself in a position where he must choose between the lesser of two evils, while making sure to protect himself.

Sonny Corinthos has been keeping secrets from Carly, while one secret in particular could destroy what has been years in the making. Carly and Sonny have been through it all together, but Sonny’s affair with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could be the nail in the coffin.

It’s been about an entire year since that fateful night when Julian Jerome (William deVry) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fell from the bridge and into the water. The tragedy killed Julian and caused Sonny’s amnesia, leading to the mess Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) created.

General Hospital news reports reveal that William deVry has recently re-addressed his General Hospital exit, along with expressing his thoughts on returning to the 58 year old daytime drama.

General Hospital spoilers reveal some major updates regarding deVry’s status with GH. At a recent fan event, William revealed to fans that he may be in talks with General Hospital Executive Producer, Frank Valentini. He teased, “Frank keeps threatening to take me to dinner.” He then continued on to clear and GH rumors surrounding his status with the Soap Opera. He disclosed, “But I think that’s mostly as a ‘thank you’ for the last eight years. He certainly hasn’t brought up the potential of bringing me back.”

As far as the General Hospital rumors go, the rumors painted a sort of distorted image of what actually happened when deVry exited General Hospital. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is known for being a man of his word and a man of honor. Although not to be messed with, Sonny is for the most part, fair in his retaliations. It’s not like him to act selfish less as opposed to protectively. But in this case, things are different.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has struck a cord with Sonny, causing him to go back on his threat against Peter. Once Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) returned home, things changed for Jason and Carly, leaving an open opportunity for Jason and Britt to reconnect. Their mission to find Liesl (Kathleen Gati), however, ended in tragedy, shooting down any possible future for them now that Jason is presumed dead.
