Now that Baby Ace lost his mother, big brother, and even his father. Odds are that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) won’t be the most present figure in his baby son’s life. Instead, Ace is surrounded by his grandmother Laura, and step grandfather Kevin.

According to the latest GH rumors, taking care of a baby becomes too much for Laura and Kevin. Elizabeth seems to have a soft sport for Ace’s mom, Esme, and feels guilty for her part in Nikolas’s devious behavior. GH recaps highlight Liz and Kevin’s experience in the cemetery. That’s when they both witnessed a distraught Heather Webber (Alley Mills) mourn her late daughter. A shocking new development has reached social media outlets and major changes have hit Port Charles. Esme Prince and Spencer Cassadine are presumed dead, which means both Pohl and Chavez are off the canvas.

GH fans are conflicted as some want Esme gone because she wreaks havoc on some fan-favorite characters. On the other hand many GH fans don’t want to see her go. For me, Esme is incredible. Avery Pohl is an excellent actress and shines in every scene.

The recent GH news surrounding my favorite little villainess caught GH fans off guard. First, something doesn’t seem right, and the math just ain’t mathing. Meaning, this doesn’t add up. First, Avery Kristen Pohl is a phenomenal actress. Second, she initially signed a 1 year contact in August of 2021. And in June of 2022, Pohl signed on with the Soap Opera for 3 years.

So, what gives? She plays a villain and does exactly what’s she’s supposed to do, and that’s make people hate her. Often times we don’t just hate a villain, but we LOVE to hate them. Or, we hate what they do but not who they are. That’s exactly where I stand with Esme Prince.

According to GH comings and goings, Spencer and Esme are presumed dead. Nicholas Chavez is off filming a Nextflix series but is said to return after a few months. That left fans wondering about Esme’s fate. According to Soap Opera Digest, a GH spokesperson confirms Avery Pohl’s GH exit. Although the timing doesn’t add up with her 3 year contract, the GH Representative confirms that Pohl is out as Esme Prince.

Although Ace is Spencer’s brother (for now), he has taken on the father figure role in Nikolas’s absence. Some fans think he’s taken things too far. And I must admit that I am one of them. However, everything happened for a reason and GH rumors claim there’s a reason Spencer feels so attached to Ace. Yes, they are “brothers,” but rumor has it that it’s more than that.

Obviously, Spencer is upset because he doesn’t want Esme and Ace to move out. As much as he says it’s because of Ace, how much of his feelings include Esme? Maybe more than we think.

When it comes to love in the afternoon, often times a juicy love triangle is what sucks fans in. While it’s true that many GH fans want to see at least one couple who is happy and settled, that’s not always possible given the nature of soap operas. If you’re looking for stability odds are it won’t be in a soap opera couple’s relationship.

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) arrived in Port Charles with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and an agenda. Their exclusive relationship seemed solid for a while as he’d defend her to his friends. But soon everyone came to find out just who Esme is. And now that she’s yet an even different person(ality) she wants people to get to know her all over again.

According to a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Avery Kristen Pohl reveals Esme’s feelings for Spencer. Ever since suffering amnesia, the young mother has turned a new leaf.

“I think that Esme is trying to have a little bit of a new lease on life,” is what Pohl explained regarding Esme’s new perspective. “She’s much happier and I think she’s trying to accept her scenario for what it is and she’s starting to sort of find some semblance of a routine- and Spencer has become a huge part of that.” The actress continued, “I think a lot of [her view of Spencer] is tied to wanting Ace to be happy and giving him a semblance of stability,” she went on to explain. “But I think Esme also wants some semblance of stability and she can see that within Spencer, but in a very different light than the sort of ‘old’ Esme did.”

Esme Reverts To Old Ways

At first, much skepticism about Esme’s amnesia challenged her authenticity. Was she really a new and improved Esme Prince, or was this known con artist doing what she does best? To answer that question, it looks as though Esme indeed suffered from amnesia as a result of her tragic experience of Wyndemere’s parapet. She truly has a new outlook, but that doesn’t mean the old Esme isn’t down deep inside.

According to GH spoilers, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) shouldn’t get too comfy with Spencer. In fact, Pohl reveals that, “Esme isn’t fully aware of how her actions are going to impact others,” Avery continued, “which may be similar to old Esme in a certain capacity, but I don’t think realizes her little mini crush on Spencer yet.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Redemption! Nikolas Turns The Tables On Uncle Victor, Saves His Two Sons

Nikolas saves Spencer and Ace! Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) is unconscious and held at an undisclosed location. There, he is on life support as Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) keeps watch over the Dark Prince.

GH Recaps: Currently, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and company are aboard the Haunted Star. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and his baby brother Ace (Joey and Jay Clay) were kidnapped as part of Uncle Victor’s grand Cassadine plan. We can’t forget that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is also among Victor’s prisoners. In addition, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is the only one other than Victor who is aboard the ship voluntarily. She snuck onto the boat when she senses that Spencer was in trouble. Evidently, Trina’s instincts were spot on.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Victor keeps dangling “family” in Spencer’s face. He acts as though all of his crazy antics are carried out in the name of “family.” But what exactly does that mean anyways? As far as Spencer is concerned, “family” is important to those who make it important. For example, Spencer believes his father didn’t make the family of great importance. Instead, he feels abandoned and mistreated by Nikolas. Now that Nikolas is missing, Spencer does what it takes to make sure his brother Ace is safe. That being said, Spencer feels like he’s battling Victor alone- with Trina and Liesl’s help, of course.

Nikolas Turns the Tables On Victor

Although, recent GH rumors suggest some wild speculations about what’s happening on that ship. According to General Hospital rumors, Nikolas saves Spencer and Ace. Apparently, GH rumors suggest that Mason and Nikolas might be on the Haunted Star along with the others. We know Mason is keeping Nikolas is alive. However, we don’t know who Mason takes orders from. Maybe Victor is preserving Nikolas for his own benefit. In hope that some day his nephew can see things his way. On the other hand, GH news reports say Constance Towers returns as Helena Cassadine. Could SHE be pulling the strings? No matter which crazy Cassadine, it’s likely Nikolas won’t oblige. If he awakens, he can turn the tables on Victor to save his two sons!
