Yesterday, General Hospital’s Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio Drake) posted a little hint on Instagram. It looks as if Robin will be having a lot of upcoming scenes with her cousin Maxie Jones and some with Spinelli. How will these scenes tie into the custody battle between Maxie and Lulu for baby Connie? Lulu is accusing Maxie of murdering her cousin Robin when she accidentally had her purse latched to what ultimately caused the explosion Robin was in . (Or so they thought). Lulu went there. She was cold and calculating enough to drag Maxie’s ‘dead’ cousin into the courtroom to use against Maxie. Once they all learn Robin is alive, will it all blow up in Lulu’s face?

Maxie encounters complications with her baby that could cost her her life! Maxie is tough and strong willed, but is she strong enough to give birth to this baby girl? What will happen if Maxie dies before the truth can come out about the baby?
…It’s been rumored that actress Kirsten Storms has recently signed a two year contract. Therefore, things look positively for fans in regards to Maxie actually dying. I’m pretty sure Maxie will be sticking around to play out this baby mama drama!
The latest General Hospital casting news involves one of my favorite characters. There is a rumor circulating the internet that Bradford Anderson has been taken off of contract and the character of Damien Spinelli will now be recurring.
This news doesn’t sit well with me. Spinelli has been one of my favorite characters since the day he arrived in Port Charles. I have always had high hopes for Maxie and Spinelli. This just doesn’t make much sense they this would be done at this point in time considering the big story line that revolves around Maxie, Spinelli, and Ellie. Spinelli is about to become a Father with the woman he has loved for many years.
General Hospital Blog will keep you updated regarding the validation of this rumor. Please feel free to comment and express your opinions.
General Hospital’s Head Writer Ron Carlivati tweeted this morning, encouraging fans to watch General Hospital today. There will be more surprises leading up to General Hospital’s 50th anniversary. GH50!
It looks like Maxie got what she wanted – sort of. After she miscarried while carrying Dante and Lulu’s baby, Maxie wanted nothing more than to be pregnant again, so they wouldn’t find out she lost their baby. Maxie went to Dr. Westborn to see if she would implant another one of Lulu’s eggs inside her. When Dr. Britt came back with Maxie’s blood panel results, they both got shocking news. Maxie IS pregnant… but it looks like it’s a Spixie baby. Although I would have loved for Spixie to be in this situation ready, willing, and happily together I would take it any way I can get it. Maxie has a lot to deal with right now. From dealing with Dante and Lulu, to handling rejection from Spinelli AGAIN, to now being pregnant with his baby, the question remains… What should Maxie do next?
I just love this news! The New York post has named General Hospital one of the top 5 shows to watch in 2013. This is great news on so many levels. The fact that a soap opera was chosen at all in this supposed endangered soap opera time leads me to believe that GH is not going anywhere. The genre and/or the show itself may have had it’s struggles in the past, but since the new regime, this show has come back full force and is stronger than ever. There isn’t a social media site you can quiet when it comes to General Hospital. Twitter is loaded with fans and actors alike talking about GH. Facebook has multiple pages dedicated to General Hospital and it’s survival. Among one of those pages is the Facebook page for General Hospital Blog. It’s full of updates, posts, and up to date news on all things General Hospital. Check us out and LIKE us on Facebook! Click here. Congratulations to General Hospital! Happy New Year!

Today is the day GH, Maxie Jones, and Kirsten Storms fans have been waiting for! Today marks Kirsten’s first air date back to General Hospital since her medical leave about a year ago. She has been missed. We are so happy that she is healthy and able to be back to work. She is a beautiful and talented actress and it is wonderful to have her grace us with her presence every afternoon.I personally am looking forward to ALL of Maxie’s scenes and interactions with the residents of Port Charles. In the near future, I have hope for Spinelli and Maxie to get back together. We need a Spixie reunion! Congratulations Kirsten on getting well and coming back to work. Welcome back!
Maxie Jones has always been a favorite of mine. She is passionate about everything she does and is involved with. I admire this character for being true to herself even when others put her down. Even when she does crazy things, she acts out of passion and love. Maxie goes to extremes for the people she cares about. She has made some bad decisions in order to reap benefits from certain situations and most of the time caused more harm than good. However, the most recent stunt of Maxie’s is completely selfless. She is pleading guilty to a crime she didn’t commit to save her “boyfriend” Matt from going to jail. Maxie doesn’t want Patrick and Emma to lose another loved one even though they love her as well. She is willing to sacrifice herself for the good of Matt, Patrick, and Emma. A few years ago I would never have thought the character of Maxie could do such a good deed. I believe Spinelli has taught her how to be genuine and love selflessly. Maxie has always loved her family, especially Robin, but I think Spinelli has had a lot to do with showing Maxie what love truly is and how to put yourself last when it comes to helping others. It’s great that Maxie has Spinelli to stand by her through anything, and right now she needs him the most. Hopefully this will ignite the flame for “Spixie” again and instead of a non-wedding, then can have a real one!
