General Hospital News: Nancy’s Reply To Carolyn’s Outward Support For Steve Causes Hysteria Among GH Fans

General Hospital news and spoilers revealed that General Hospital star, Steve Burton, has yet another supporter among his co-stars.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carolyn Hennesy spoke out in a tweet, with nothing but kind words to say about her friend, Steve Burton, upon General Hospital news confirmation of his GH exit.

However, Carolyn’s warm words for Steve were not embraced by all. General Hospital spoilers reveal Nancy Lee Grahn had something to say about Carolyn’s outward support for Steve.

Nancy replied to Carolyn’s tweet, implying that Steve’s choices contribute to Covid related losses. Take a look below at the Twitter exchange between Hennesy and Grahn.

GH fans quickly began to pin the on-screen BFF duo against each other as their different views clashed publicly in their tweets. Carolyn still showed love for Nancy, and tried squashing the fan’s hysteria over their differences of opinion.

Steve Burton is obviously a good hearted man and good friend, and co-star. We hope that someday he will make his way back to General Hospital as the legendary Jason Morgan.

It has been conformed that Steve Burton (ex-Jason Morgan) has re-signed a contract with his current position as Dylan on The Young and the Restless. For General Hospital fans, this means one of two things… 1) Jason Morgan is not really alive, or 2) He is alive as said by Victor Cassadine but will be recast.

Jason NOT Returning to General Hospital

I have been getting a lot of inquiries from fans wondering whether or not Steve Burton will be returning to GH as Jason Morgan. The answer for now is no. Steve Burton who played Jason Quartermaine/Morgan for 21 years on General Hospital has confirmed that he has signed on to The Young and the Restless on CBS. Obviously, things change at any given time in the soap world so there is not a solid answer on whether Steve will ever come back as Jason. For now, he is not. As for a recast of Jason, nothing has been said or confirmed on whether or not the character will eventually be played by another actor. Recently Steve Burton was a guest on The Talk and he explained how Y&R is willing to give him a flexible schedule so that he can keep his family in Tennessee where they choose to reside. This will make it easier for him to get back and forth to his family. I hope this clears up all the fan’s questions and concerns regarding Jason Morgan and Steve Burton’s status with General Hospital.
