It’s been far too long and General Hospital fans are restless in anticipation for Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) return to Port Charles.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is keeping the most devious secret from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and the rest of Sonny’s family. Carly has been mourning her loss while picking up the pieces as best as she can- even taking on new responsibilities to keep Sonny’s business in power.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) hit some snags as they work together to take Sonny’s place.
General Hospital rumors claim Sonny’s return won’t be a smooth reunion due to rumors surrounding his lack of memory, his romantic interest in Nina, and a possible martial status change for Carly. GH rumors claim that Jason and Carly may marry as a way to protect the business- but once it’s official, Carly’s husband, Sonny, will present himself in Port Charles.
General Hospital spoilers suggest things are about to get messy upon Sonny’s return home. Carly, Jason, Nina, and Sonny, will be heavily affected by the mess Nina has made.
Thankfully Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has her newfound companionship with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as she navigates through one difficult situation to another.
Britt has been on the receiving end of some bad news and things happening to her lately, but having Jason by her side has softened the blow.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm Jason won’t be the only one in Britt’s corner when she receives more disappointing news. GH comings and goings report that Parry Shen will return to GH as Britt’s buddy, Brad Cooper, on July 1st.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt will receive some more bad news. She’ll be informed by Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) that she is being replaced as Chief of Staff at GH. She was appointed the position by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), back to when he thought he could use Dr. Westbourne to slyly traffic drugs through the hospital. Now that Renault has been hauled off to Federal Prison, Britt’s credentials are no longer a match for the position.
Everyone in Port Charles and beyond knows that wherever Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) goes, his best and most trusted friend, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will follow. The same goes for Jason. He will follow Carly to the ends of the Earth to support and protect.
General Hospital spoilers reveal a new dynamic between these life long besties. Now that Jason is back after Carly had to step up as a Mob Boss with The Five Families, there will be friction between them over power and decisions that need to be made for the business.
However, mob life isn’t the only thing causing friction between Jason and Carly. General Hospital spoilers indicate Jason’s new relationship with Dr. Britt Westbourne has Carly on somewhat of a tizzy, as every girl that has meant something to Jason. Although she is always happy for Jason’s happiness, she can’t help her jealously rearing it’s ugly head.
General Hospital previews show a disgruntled Carly, asking Jason “how he could say that to me?” Jason seems to be putting other things such as the business and/or Britt before Carly in this particular conversation, and Carly just isn’t here for all that noise.
General Hospital rumors suggest things could get difficult for a while, during this time period without Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But everything changes once the shocking revelation of Sonny’s existence blindsides Port Charles and The Five Families.
A lot has changed since Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) saw his friend, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at GHwhere he was being treated for an injury. Britt’s life has taken some unexpected turns, including becoming allies with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and learning that she carries the generic marker for a life threatening disease, Huntington’s.
General Hospital news reports the latest GH comings and goings. Parry Shen will return to the canvas as Brad Cooper. His appearance has been reported to take place on July 1st.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt is going through a rough time and needs her friend Brad by her side.
General Hospital rumors suggest Britt’s issues not only surround her health news, but she will need a listening ear when it comes to her budding romance with mob enforcer, Jason Morgan. Jason and Brad have never been each other’s biggest fan, and Brad might have some pushback on the idea of Britt’s new man. But when it’s all said and done, Britt is all in.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) might be trouble for Jason and Britt if her jealousy consumes her as Jason and Britt get closer.
Hopefully Carly will soon be preoccupied with the return of her husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), letting her focus be elsewhere.
Drew Cain was once believe to be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), husband to Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco), and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right hand man. It was a major revelation when this mystery man, “Jake Doe” was revealed to be Jason, to then later be revealed as actually Drew Cain (Billy Miller).
General Hospital spoilers reveal soap opera vet, Cameron Mathison is joining the cast of General Hospital.
Since the GH news related to any recent coming and goings have not yet leaked Mathison’s character, GH fans like to use their imagination and speculate.
General Hospital rumors suggest Mathison couldn’t be relaxing Billy Miller in the role of Drew Cain, brother to Jason Morgan. The claims surrounded by the possibility of bringing back Drew are related to recent IG stories posted by Cameron Mathison, showing off a new beard, resembling Drew Cain.
The people of Port Charles are singing their praises now that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is finally getting what he deserves.
Dr. Britt Wearbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) seems to be over the moon at the news of Renault’s trip to Federal prison. She called Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to let him in on the good news, as their work to bring him down is now done. Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), are also among the many who are happy to see him go.
General Hospital comings and goings report of a recent exit from General Hospital. General Hospital news confirms Jeff Kober has exited his role as Cyrus Renault as his character is being hauled off to Federal prison for his crimes which were bound to catch up to him.
General Hospital rumors claim that just because Kober is exiting his role as Renault currently, that doesn’t mean we won’t see him again in his Emmy nominated role as Cyrus Renault sometime in the future.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is a very resourceful woman. She sprung immediately into action without hesitation when she had to step on for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) at the meeting with the Five Families.
With the help of Brick (Stephen A. Smith), Carly’s been calling the shots. General Hospital rumors claim Jax (Ingo Rademacher), may have been right about one thing, Carly enjoys the power.
General Hospital spoilers indicate Jason and Carly will clash over who should be in power. Now that Jason has been exonerated, there’s no reason he can’t step back into this position of power.
It looks like Carly doesn’t want to give up her newfound control over the baddies of Port Charles. But how far will she oppose her main man, best friend, and shoulder to lean on, Jason Morgan? Some will argue that Carly has her own family to manage and look after, and to leave the Five Families to Jason. Other are all for Carly’s new role as a bad ass mob boss.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has never been one to openly express and/or admit his feelings and emotions. He’s always had a reserved way of showing his feelings, and only when the time was right. His lack of emotional vulnerability results in his “stone cold” persona.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) have developed real feelings for each other after both saving each other’s lives, and being there for support when they needed someone the most.
General Hospital spoilers previews disclose what’s ahead for Jason and Britt. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) questions Jason about his intentions with Britt and he deflects. He isn’t quite ready to reveal how he really feels about this unexpected connection with Dr. Westbourne.
He may feel a little cold feet moving on from Sam (Kelly Monaco). Jason and Sam were everything to each other for a life time. And now she has backed away for the sake of her children’s safety. She made her choice, and now Jason needs to feel comfortable moving on.
General Hospital reclaim Jason Will every ally come around and admit he can see a future work Britt, no matter how long that may be.
Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) recently suffered a great loss. Her husband, and stepfather to her boys was taken unexpectedly when he fell victim to Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) psychotic nature.
Liz has been mourning Franco’s (Roger Howarth) loss, first by throwing blame in the wrong direction at Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), then by dealing with the fallout surrounding her son, Cameron Webber (William Lipton), and now keeping herself busy and focused by diving into her work.
Elizabeth has been helping Dr. Finn in his quest to find a cure for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), as he too has fallen victim of Peter. Liz and Finn have been working closely together while trying to undo the damage Peter has done. Liz feels that Peter has already taken away her husband, so she’s going to do all she can to help Finn so that Peter doesn’t take Chase too.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth and Finn have made a deeper connection than anticipated, as it continues to grow as they work side by side to save Chase. The situation could get a bit awkward since Finn was in a relationship with Elizabeth’s sister, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), making Elizabeth an Aunt to Finn and Hayden’s daughter, Violet.
General Hospital rumors suggest Liz and Finn will develop deeper feelings for each other, causing a controversial relationship over the fact that it might be too soon after losing Franco for Liz to jump into a relationship, especially with her sister’s ex.
Are you in board for a Liz and Finn coupling? Take the poll!
It’s hard to believe that the 1990s heartthrob and TV star, Steve Burton, is 50 years old with 3 kids. His eldest child, daughter, Makena Grace, is all grown up. The 17 year old is a big sister to 15 year old brother, Jack Marshall, and 6 year old sister, Brooklyn Faith.
Steve and his wife, Sheree, and their three children live in California where Steve Burton continues to dazzle General Hospital fans with his good looks and talent. His wife Sheree is an active IG fitness influencer, sharing workouts and healthy eating habits. Steve also has developed his own company, Burton Nutrition, which supplies workout necessities and supplements. Steve and Sheree often share family photos, including updates on their 3 kids.
General Hospital news reports, Sheree has shared a photo of Makena as she is off to her senior prom. The 17 year old beauty has her mom in disbelief, as children tend to grow up so fast, right before our eyes.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Makena is ready for prom, and the photo below shows the young woman in a full length black gown and red strapless heels.
