Luckily for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), that he has Carly and Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) on his side. However, things aren’t looking so lucky for Britt. Cyrus is into her and now that he knows she’s been helping Jason, General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt will fall victim to Cyrus Renault’s savagery.

Kelly Thiebaud’s character, Britt Westbourne is facing multiple challenges as she battles an illness in silence, and his now helping Jason Morgan and Carly Corinthos break Jason out of General Hospital.

General Hospital news reports confirmed that Kelly Thiebaud had falsely tested positive for Covid, and due to protocol, Thiebaud’a expected return date (from vacation) got pushed back two weeks.

General Hospital News And Spoilers: Let’s Clear The Air On Why Shawn Butler Is In Jail

The return of Sean Blakemore as General Hospital badass, Shawn Butler has been welcomed by fans with open arms.

General Hospital news reports confirmed Blakemore’s GH return earlier this month, which prompted many fans to ask, “why is Shawn on GH in jail?” It’s hard to wrap our heads around how someone like Shawn could sit in jail for many years while people like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) are running free in Port Charles.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Shawn is back by the request of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to help Jason Morgan out of Pentonville. Carly’s plan is risky, but so far is working out the way she hoped. But dans don’t want to see Shawn behind bars. We want Shawn exonerated and released so that the power in Port Charles will shift and pull away from Cyrus Renault.

So, why is Shawn in jail? Well, it’s complicated. Shawn was ordered by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to carryout a hit on Jake Doe (Billy Miller), before Sonny knew Doe’s true identity. At the same time, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) put a hit out on Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). When the bullet from one of Nik’s men hit Hayden, Butler truly believed it was his fire that hit her. Long story short, he pled guilty to attempted murder and landed himself in Pentonville.

Although Shawn is in jail for a crime he didn’t commit, he believed he was the one who shot Hayden. He wanted to own you to his actions and show TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) how important it is to take accountability for your actions.

We think it’s high time Shawn gets released from Pentonville so that he can help stop Cyrus and Peter from the outside. Port Charles needs him!
