Tyler Christopher and his best friend April Grant met when he moved to San Diego. They had been friends for over three years at the time of Tyler Christopher’s sudden passing. Reportedly, Grant was appointed “Legacy” to Tyler’s social media accounts in the event of his death.

Over on Facebook, so-called fans have started new groups and accounts across the platform. These groups have been labeled as unofficial and deemed a scam after having been exposed by Tyler’s friend April Grant. Moreover, other GH rumors surrounding Tyler’s life and death began in conjunction with the fake fundraisers. These posts made claims that the money was for funeral expenses and the life. However, Grant has taken to Tyler’s Instagram to debunk any rumors that suggest Tyler “left this world without proper planning is completely false and degrading.”
She went on to write in detail about his personal affairs. Obviously, April feels strongly about her dear friend and doesn’t want misconceptions about his life left as memories.
First, we’d like to wish Tyler Christopher peace on what would have been his 51st birthday, and what is his 1st Heavenly Birthday.
October 31st was almost two weeks ago, but the time went by so quickly. Since Tyler Christopher’s death, the turn of events concerns fans, leaving them confused. Undoubtedly his death was a shock to all. We as fans never saw it coming, although his life struggles helped paint the picture. Still, no one truly knows what someone feels and thinks inside.
At this time we pray that Tyler’s memory is respected and honored. In 2023, one way to honor a deceased loved one is by memorializing or acting as “Legacy” on their social media account(s). According to General Hospital news and spoilers, Tyler Christopher appointed a Legacy to take over his account and post on his behalf.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Christopher’s appointed Legacy is his best friend April Grant. Tyler’s friend shared some things about herself and Tyler in a recent IG post. According to Grant, they met when he moved to San Diego, and she became his only friend in the new city. April has taken the time to reach out to Tyler’s fans via Instagram. She has explained her relationship to Tyler as his best friend of the last three years. Also, April revealed that she was named his designated Legacy and has taken over his social media.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Tyler and April were very close. She admitted that they spent almost every day together when he moved to San Diego. They walked their dogs, went to museums, and more. April disclosed her reason for choosing today to send this message out to the world.
It’s been almost two full weeks since the world lost a great talent and a kind soul. The outpouring of love and support for Tyler Christopher at the time of his passing speaks volumes.
Many co-stars, friends and family took to social media to share their memories of Tyler. Behind the scenes pics of Tyler and his pals at General Hospital flooded our timelines. Thankfully, social media platforms help spread news, show support, and come together in solidarity and support for certain causes. Despite social media being a positive force in todays world, there are also many downsides.
BREAKING! New Posts From Tyler Christopher’s Instagram
General Hospital news reports reveal that there is activity coming from Tyler Christopher’s official Instagram page. The odd posts started surfacing earlier today, while Facebook groups have been made in his honor. Or so that’s what some want us to think. According to the mysterious Instagram posts and stories; one in particular names a Facebook group that’s dedicated to Tyler as fake.
According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, a post was shared warning fans not to donate to a fundraiser that claims to be for funeral expenses and Tyler’s last wishes. However, Christopher’s page shared posts that oppose this “fake” fundraiser. So far, two posts have been shared onto Tyler’s official IG feed along with a few “stories.” If you’re unfamiliar with the Instagram platform, stories are highlights that stay up for 24 hours and then disappear. That’s there a video displays a post from a Susan “P” Baker, and giving details of a fundraiser.
Naturally, many who mourn Tyler are also most likely willing to lend a helping hand or some monetary gesture to the family. That said, be careful not to fall for a fundraiser scam out of the goodness of your heart. Please hang tight as this story is still developing. General Hospital Blog will keep you updated on the latest involving Tyler Christopher’s Instagram account as well as fraudulent messages.
Tyler Christopher’s family feud! …It seems to me that there’s an alleged, real-life Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) situation among a major General Hospital star. Currently, when long-time GH fans think of Nikolas Cassadine, our minds revert to the glory days. Yes, the 1990s.
Fast forward some decades and a couple actors in between, and that lead us Marcus Coloma. With little hesitation, fans welcomed Marcus with open arms. But before all that, there was Tyler Christopher. Today, given the current situation involving Nikolas’s captivity, Tyler Christopher will always come to mind as hell always be OG Nik. That being said, General Hospital news a reports confirm that Tyler could be living through something very similar to that of what Sasha is currently, and unknowingly facing.
According to the latest GH spoilers and news, ABC Soaps In Depth reports that Tyler Christopher opened up about a controversial family situation. Furthermore, he explains how this current issue ties to his 2019 arrest. You can read that full story HERE!
Tyler Christopher’s Family Feud
But because of that situation, GH news and spoilers report that Christopher’s sister, Susan Asmo Baker, petitioned for her brother to be under guardianship. Now, Tyler speaks out on the entire matter. In a recent interview, Tyler reveals he and his sister Susan are at odds over his conservatorship. During his rough time in 2019, Tyler trusted his sister to handle his finances while he healed.
Tyler disclosed, “I never thought in a million years that I would be taken advantage of by a family member.” Then, he went on to describe how his sister became appointed his guardian. “I was recovering from a brain injury so the choice for guardianship was made for me without my knowledge,” Tyler added.
This sounds familiar if you ask me! Shall we say, Britney Spears?! Well, yes, but I’m just kidding. Sasha Gilmore comes to mind! Gladys took over Sasha’s finances and she obviously can’t be trusted. Will the same be said for Tyler’s sister?
We continue to keep Tyler in our thoughts and prayers as he navigates through this rough patch. Thankfully, he has his GH friends Kin, Maurice, and Marcus, just to name a few, for support!
Tyler Christopher returns to GH? Tyler Christopher is best known for his role as Nikolas Cassadine on ABC’s General Hospital. He began the role in 1996 and had played the Dark Prince for close to two decades.
General Hospital spoilers reveal the newly 50 year old has taken to Instagram to volunteer for the role of Nikolas Cassadine. Yes, you read that correctly. The actor who originated Nikolas Cassadine in 1996 is making it known that he is available and ready to jump back into the spotlight.
Tyler Christopher shirtless
Upon General Hospital casting news regarding Marcus Coloma’s recent absence, Christopher called out his predecessor in an Instagram story.
Recent reports confirmed actor Adam Huss has stepped into Coloma’s shoes as Nikolas Cassadine. However, Tyler tagged Nik’s current portrayer in an article featuring current recast, Adam Huss. Tyler made it crystal clear he is willing to step in any time Marcus Coloma needs a day off. The Emmy winner adds, ”Just Sayin,’” to his IG story in what seems to be a nudge for consideration in the future.
