Van Hansis plays new Lucas Jones …New faces aren’t uncommon in daytime television, but they still come as a shock every time. This time, GH fans weren’t expecting any new faces other than the highly anticipated Lulu reveal.
Unexpectedly, another one of Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) family members popped up with a new face. According to General Hospital comings and goings, Lulu Spencer has been recast. Emme Rylan will no longer play Luke and Laura’s daughter. Instead, All My Children actress Alexa Havins has taken over the role.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Lucas Jones has been recast. Yes, Carly’s (Wright) cousin Lulu (Havins), and her brother Lucas (Hansis) have new faces. Previously, Ryan Carnes filled Lucas’s shoes. But this week Van Hansis debuted in the role.
Despite the new look, Hansis isn’t new to daytime television. In fact, the 43 year old actor played Luke Snyder on CBS’s As The World Turns. His time as Luke Snyder ended with ATWT’s final episode in 2010.
