Just in time for Jason‘s homecoming and Sam decides to pull out Wyndham‘s finest from her closet. Or maybe she went shopping, who knows? Either way Sam (Kelly Monaco) couldn’t look further from her old self, even if she tried. Coincidence? I think not.
While Sam may have chosen her pink blouse coincidentally to Jason’s homecoming, the writers knew what they were doing, or so it seems. Previously, Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson dove into the topic of Jason Morgan’s iconic fashion sense. That’s when Bradford asked his pal if Jason’s color pallet has changed this time around. Then, Steve confirmed that Jason’s vibe remains untouched. T-shirts and leather is where it’s at, and if it ain’t broken then don’t fix it.
True, every character has their own signature style. But some carry that extra flare even with the simplest styles. Back in the day Jason and Sam rocked their T-shirts and black leather jackets and became known for their certain “look.”
General Hospital news reports confirm the hype. Steve Burton in fact returns to GH on Monday, March 4th. Jason Morgan’s Port Charles homecoming has fans guessing on the big reveal. Clues and foreshadowing keep our minds sharp as we piece together the subtle details. According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sam’s pink blouse foreshadows Jason’s return. However, the blatant opposition to classic “Sam style” has us curious. Why would Sam choose now to wear such a bright color when she and Jason almost always wore plain black or white T-shirts?
The symbolism could show that Sam’s life is far from what it was when she was with Jason. She’s not directly tied to the mob and her man is law enforcement. Just has that pink blouse count be further from hers and Jason’s style, Sam’s life couldn’t be further from the one she had with Jason.
Then again, GH rumors tease that Jason couldn’t be further from the old Jason as well…
