Outside the Quartermaine mansion, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) prepares for the ultimate takedown. He has his informant Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in place as it gets closer and closer to game time. Meanwhile, Sonny isn’t the only big issue Michael has on his mind. Michael has been right by Willow’s side since the moment he found out she was sick. He has a lot on his plate as Willow’s transplant and his business dealings both come to a head. At this time, Willow and Michael prepare for her upcoming bone marrow transplant. After Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was cleared to donate, the medical preparations began. Now, Willow is getting ready for the big day. However, that’s not the only big day Willow gets ready for. Additionally, she prepares to become Mrs. Michael Corinthos.

Other than the three of them, no one is in on Michael and Dex’s secret.

Will Carly tell Willow the truth about Nina? …Carly Spencer (Corinthos) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are the ultimate rivals. Their epic battle over Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was just the turning point after Nina blamed Carly as her reason for keeping him in Nixon Falls.

According to Nina’s narrative, she’s always the victim even when she commits the unsatisfactory offense. Nina somehow manages to flip the table and blames anyone but herself. She did exactly that when she made the conscious choice to keep lead the Corinthos family to believe Sonny Corinthos was dead. Over and over she made the decision to keep him all to herself, in a tiny secluded town. Nina justified her selfish decisions by making herself the victim and claiming it’s all Carly’s fault. She holds Carly responsible for the fact that she didn’t get to know her daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) before her tragic death.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

What Nina neglects to consider is Nelle’s contribution to her own death. She was a psycho who lived for destroying Carly’s life. She deduced her son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), told him their baby was dead, then kidnapped the baby, slashed Brook Lynn’s throat, staged a one night stand with Carly’s husband Sonny, and so much more. She was an extreme danger to Carly and her entire family, along with anyone else who got in her way. Nelle died because she kidnapped Wiley with Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) help. Her own choices lead to her death. Nina refuses to see the fault lies on her daughter just as she refuses to look in the mirror. Carly, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), and Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) love to remind Nina that biology is strong when assessing personality traits.

Willow and Michael use Nina’s connection to Nelle in their favor. Nina’s relation to a psychopath is one of many reasons they need her to stay away from their son Wiley. Ms. Reeves’ actions display similarly to those of her late daughter Nelle. That being said, it’s not in the best interest of their child for Nina to be near her own grandson.

Will Carly and Nina change roles in Willow and Michael’s lives?

Nina has been the bad guy for years, and rightfully so. However, General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease things could turn around for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). As Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman) assessed her daughter Carly Cortinthos’ (Laura Wright) relationship with both Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and his brother Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), pointing how that no one will have Carly’s back the way Jason did.

Well there we have it! The storyline surrounding Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and her undying quest to find her long lost biological child lives on in her resentment toward Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

General Hospital recaps recall Nina’s search for her daughter came to an end when she found out Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was her child, and then was never able to get to know the psychopath. Nina blames Carly, says she had a hand in Nelle’s “death” although Nelle tried to kill multiple people including the father of her son, Wiley.

Nelle’s baby daddy happens to be Carly’s son, Michael Corinthos, and Carly was protecting her own when she and Nelle got into it and Nelle fell from the cliff. This major event has crates a so no effect of reactions that have lead this group of people to where they are today. Nina used this as her excuse RO keep Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) away from his wife and children, causing Sonny and Carly to divorce, and enabling Michael and Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) resentment toward Sonny to fuel their future decisions.
